Detailed Reviews
We stayed in Karolina Cabin and really liked it until we had to sleep. We were excited b/c the cabin had a hot tub on the deck overlooking the mountains and a fireplace. But, after a long day we both slept terribly. The mattress on both beds was the same. A thin cheap mattress that sagged in the middle. We both tossed and turned. The second night my husband went and slept on the futon couch in the living room, he couldn't take it anymore. But, other than that it was nice, in a nice location.

Stayed three nights for the beautiful fall foliage and train ride in Bryson City.
We were in A Frame Chalet.
Pros: Wonderful location right on a nice creek. Huge back deck overlooking the ceek. Roomy cottage with comfortable beds. Clean and well appointed.
Cons: Chalet in need of some major TLC. Had nagging problems with plumbing, electrical including lights and recepticles. All our little headaches were addressed but i don't need those kind of problems while on vacation.
I would stay again just for the location

We stayed in The Cottage. This was the 5th time staying there and it was the worst time by far. I love the location with the creek 25ft off the porch but we had a lot of issues with the cabin this time. The refrigerator didn't work, the limited outlets are so old your chargers fall out of them and the wifi was nonexistent. They do have some new cabins so I'm sure that's where the resources are going.

We Stayed at the Kloud View cabin, we were immediately disappointed upon arrival, the pictures on the website are taken at an angle as to showing that there is privacy but the cabins are sitting side by side with enough room to park our vehicle. Walking in to the cabin we are greeted with dirty stained carpet, walked into the bathroom and there was mold and mildew around the entire tub. None of the outlets in the bedroom worked. trying and make the best of it we decided to get in the hot tub, it was not working so we called to report it and they sent someone out to look at it the next day and was told that they had to order a part, so we were told we could move to the cabin next door. Same dirty carpet and old dirty couches but at least the outlets worked. We had to put towels up around the porch to have some privacy while in the hot tub. These cabins are not good for families with kids as there is no place outside for them to play as the front of the cabin is on the edge of the mountain and the road is on the back side of the cabin. These were the worst cabins I have ever stayed in and I would never recommend them.

We were extremely disappointed with Hidden Creek Cabin's "Alarka Hideaway"; the cabin was in terrible shape; we checked in to a sticky kitchen, the counter as well as the drawer knobs and handles were sticky to touched and it appeared as if a bottle of soda had exploded, the splatter was visible on all kitchen surfaces. The toilet had not been cleaned and had remnants from the last guest under the seat and around the bowl. The fire pit was full of melted garbage from the last time it was used and two of four plastic chairs were broken. There is a pool table in the picture but the table was loose, it moved, it was uneven, and one of two cues were broken. The kitchen chairs have seen better days for sure and we were afraid to sit in them, even our kids (70 and 100 lbs) were making the chairs sway in every direction just by sitting in them. The bed was in no better shape. The frame was loose and felt more like a rocking bed in a unpleasant way. The bedding did not smell fresh and clean. The pillows in particular were the smelliest. My wife used her clothes for a pillow as she didn't bring her own. We bought a new one the next day.
The Bathroom had a standup shower that was coming off the wall, there were 12+ tiles in the bathroom that were cracked and coming loose. The beds were smelly and the pillows were so bad we had to purchase a new one at the family dollar store.
The refrigerator seemed to function but the freezer definitely did not freeze anything, the ice we placed inside we found melted in the fridge the next morning.
BL - This cabin needs work, it was not ready for guests and we were really disappointed in the whole experience.

The Redwood Lodge was perfect for our family needs. After a long day rafting we came back & enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The large open kitchen/living room was very enjoyable for all ages from preparing meals together to shooting pool. The rental process was easy and the staff very helpful.

If you are looking for an awesome place the Honeymoon Creek Cabin is the place to be. My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 23rd years :-) and take a break from our busy everyday life. The cabin is nestled at the foot of the mountain with the sound of the running water at the creek was a delightful bonus. I enjoyed sitting at the back porch in the early morning drinking coffee and the fresh cool air. Overall this place just soothed my inner soul.

We have stayed at various cabins at Hidden Creek throughout the years and have always been satisfied however this year was a huge disappointment. The Cottage floor was dirty, the bathroom toilet not clean, the mattress was horrible, both the back and front doors could easily be broken into and the screen door didn't shut all the way. The location is great and we loved having the stream right in front but we will be looking at other cabin locals next year. So bummed!

+1
This was my first time staying in a cabin and I absolutely LOVED it!!! The cabin was cozy, secluded and equipped with everything we needed! Loved sitting on the porch listening to the creek, watching the birds and sitting in the hot tub!!! We even had a visitor that didn’t seem to be scared of us at all! A wonderful getaway spot for a couple or family!!! It’s close to all that Bryson City has to offer! Can’t wait to go back!!!

A great getaway in a quaint cabin just what we needed. So quiet and relaxing and the hottub was amazing, Loved drinking coffee on the front porch and listing to the water. Close to town but still felt secluded.

Asphalt turns to dirt. Some areas are a bit steep with sharp curves.
