This inn was "ok" but we have stayed at nicer. It was clean and the caretaker was friendly, however, we never saw the wife. Hostess at breakfast was nice but breakfast is not til 9am, could be a little earlier. Deck outside of room was very small, not much leg room, a little deceiving in the pictures. Overall, nice stay.

Thank you for your critique. Our inn is exactly as represented.. We are sorry these guests did not enjoy their stay or their room. There is nothing deceiving about the pictures on our website. The room and balcony are exactly as pictured. Steve, the "innkeeper", is the "front of the house". "The wife" Is the "back of the house". She...

I was impressed with the overall spotlessness of the Inn. We appreciated the quiet, relaxed atmosphere and the delicious full breakfasts. Everyone was friendly and efficient. We appreciated your kindness in not charging us for the 3rd night when my husband and I realized we had a communication error. The only down side was not being able to stay that...

We had a large room on the bottom floor near the dining room. We've been to the Inn many times over the past decade, and prefer the room with it's own entrance and king sized bed. The Inn is not walkable to Bryson City, but it is near an entrance to the Park and makes for a good hike to...

Thank you for your interest in Folkestone Inn. We appreciate your input. If these guests would have let us know about the music upon their return from their hike, we would have turned it off. They were the only ones here during the day. We did not know they were back in their room because they used their private entrance....

The innkeepers make you feel like family. The Stems and Petal room is beautiful; with a perfect view of serenity. My husband and I slept so well. We left the door open to our private porch at night while we slept. The night sounds rocked us to sleep and the mountain air was so refreshing. The inn is located next...

We have B&B'd in many countries around the world and this is probably the best we have stayed at. It is located in a very peaceful place surrounded by flower and bird filled gardens, very close to the Great Smoky Mountains. Our room was excellent and the owners seem to have thought of everything for guests comfort and convenience. First...

I loved this inn. It is located just outside Bryson City and 2 minutes from an entrance to a state park with lovely walking trails, hikes to waterfalls and tubing adventures on the creek. It is about a lovely 10 mile drive to the Nantahala Outdoor Center where there is great rafting, zip lining and biking. The inn is simple...

Steve makes you feel very welcome when you arrive. Within minutes you feel comfortably oriented to where your room is, where breakfast will be served, and where the common room is located. Our room was upstairs and while small it was attractive and comfortably appointed. We slept well and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast with the other guests at am the...

This was our first stay at Folkestone Inn. What a charming property with immaculate grounds and very welcoming innkeepers. Our room was so comfortable and sitting on the balcony in the rocking chairs was perfect. Breakfast every morning was a feast! Eva is an excellent cook and Steve is a terrific server! We love our stay and look forward to...

It was most pleasant and quite. We enjoyed our weekend there very much. The innkeepers and staff were friendly and most helpful. The breakfasts were outstanding. I had checked out the other B&B's in the area while we were there and felt we had made the right decision. I look forward to going back.
