Our experience with The Lovill House Inn was spectacular. We will definitely stay again when in the Boone area. Scott & Anne were very exceptional innkeepers and made our experience very enjoyable. Dana, Brett & Blair

This is the third B&B we have stayed at within the last 3 months. Our room was lovely, clean and comfortable. We liked the B&B because it was small - only 5 rooms. Sitting on the front porch at night with a bottle of wine was very enjoyable (except for the noise from the busy road out front.) But, if...

Thank you for reviewing the Lovill House Inn and your experience with us. We're very glad to hear you had a wonderful time and recommend us to others. From your comments though we're not sure you realized we have a sixth room, the Spring House cottage which is set behind the main house. It is our most quiet room set...

On arriving at Lovill House this time we were introduced to the other guests, a mother and daughter. It turned out that the mother is a Lovill, and could recall visits to the house when she was a girl. For an old house it's in extremely good condition, with beautiful plantings outside and impressive woodwork inside. Since we had stayed...

It was a pleasure to have you both come back and visit with us. Having Lovill family stay with us is always a treat as we continue to learn more about the house and the family who built it starting in 1875. Glad you enjoyed meeting them also. The Lovill House Inn is a lovely B&B with delicious breakfasts and gracious hosts. The gardens are beautiful, including a gazebo with swing, and waterfall up the hill. It's near downtown Boone, so shops and restaurants are nearby. Rooms were very clean and beds quite comfortable. Definitely recommend the Lovill House Inn.

As someone who stays in B&B's nationally and internationally, I am going to simplify this and list the pros and cons we found for Lovill House. Pros: Registration was easy and efficient, room (one of the least expensive )was a nice size, very clean, and had a bath with shower and tub. House had beautiful architecture and interesting history. Location...

We stayed at the Lovill House Inn for 2 nights. It is conveniently located near the downtown area (5 minutes away) and was near the venue where we attended a concert (10 minutes away). Scott takes pride in showing guests around the main house and cottage (where we stayed). The main house can be accessed at any time for water,...

My wife and I enjoyed our stay immensely. We were put up in the Hickory Room. The hospitality.... accommodation, location, amenities, food, service.. all were top notch. We definitely plan to come back for another weekend getaway and are recommending this B&B to our family and friends.
