My wife and I just spent this past weekend with friends at the Appalachian State Football game in Boone, NC. Our friends suggested staying at the Ridgeway Inn, only a few miles from Boone. All around positive experience, great staff, clean comfortable rooms, enjoyable complimentary breakfast and convenient location to walk to both Restaurants and Shops. My only negative, I... More

This is a nice older inn in town. Once signed in, everything was in walking distance. The room was very clean and cozy. Chairs were on the mini size. Beds were very comfortable with premium linens and lots of pillows. Bathroom was bright and very clean. Lots of plump towels and great toiletries. Although near a Main Street, the atmosphere... Traveling by motorcycle, it was a great place to stay. When we were checking in there was a wine and cheese party going on. It was almost over but the manager left it open for us. Nice deck on 2nd floor for enjoying the moon. Friendly staff. We forgot a shirt in the room and they called us to let... More

We stayed here back in 2010 and were driving to Bristol, Tennessee and stayed again as it was on our way. Room just like we remembered it. Clean, tastefully decorated, lovely bathroom, reasonably priced, good breakfast and quiet. Would stay again.

The Ridgeway Inn is perfectly suited to the traveler who wants to combine location, value and quality. This is our second visit at Ridgeway and those three things are the reason why. The room is well cared for and more than adequate unless you plan to only stay in your room while in Blowing Rock. They aren't fancy with multiple... More

This is a rather humble motel as far as decor but in a perfect location barely a block from downtown. The other, very impressive feature is the great (free) breakfast and the generous and tasty happy hour food and beverages. There's a homey feeling in the dining area and people get to know each other. The staff is professional and... More

Stayed here in a suite for two nights, location is wonderful, so close to everything, the room could use a little TLC but we still had a great time. We had the biggest suite so it had central air, most have window units, got free breakfast and wine and snacks in the afternoon, front desk were super nice but best... More

Good location and very comfortable beds. Nice place to sit on the garden patio...but use a towel as the chairs had not been cleaned. No internet service the first day we were there. HOWEVER the big problem.....no parking available at all. Couldn't unload our suitcases as the property is on a busy intersection. Front desk clerks explained to me that... More

This is hands down the best combination of price / location in the area. Everything is walkable, you just turn the corner and you are downtown. The room and beds were comfortable. I like it a little colder but it was fine. It was very quiet. The breakfast is better than typical hotel continental. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall we were extremely satisfied with our stay. There was an error with our initial reservation so the inn upgraded us, having given us plenty of notice about the issue. We were celebration my boyfriend's birthday. The inn shared this with other guest and he received Happy Birthday wishes throughout the day. Meet some wonderful people at the Inn and... More
