Extremely clean, rooms were fairly large. We chose this property based on location and also for indoor pool, as we were taking our grandson to Tweetsie. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Wifi was extremely slow.

The room was spotless and the staff was very friendly. The pool was clean and our grandsons enjoyed swimming after a day at Tweetsie Railroad. Breakfast was great. The duck pond was a nice bonus. We will definitely return when we are in the area.

Stayed 2 nights in one of the pool suites and loved it. The only things I think should be considered is to have many extra towels available for the suite pool already in the room at the pool and the website indicated that there were supposed to be robes, which would have been very useful when getting out of pool... Picked the Horse Show Weekend to go to Blowing Rock; with all of the smaller inns requiring 2 night minimums. The good news is that the Meadowbrook Inn allowed one night stays. So choice was limited. Blowing Rock is a very cute mountain town, but quite touristy w many quaint little Inns . The Meadowbrook is not one of them.... More

We have stayed here several times and have never been disappointed. The staff is so warm and welcoming. The updated rooms are So lovely, clean and comfortable. The breakfast offerings have been added to, giving a bigger choice of foods. The location is excellent. We are looking forward to our next visit.

I stayed at this hotel for a work function and the location is perfect; right in the center of town and within walking distance to everything. The staff is also wonderful. Roy, at the front desk, is sweet and attentive. Overall I would say this place is good, but not great. There were trash bags visible on the grounds, the... More

I will start by saying that the Deluxe King room that we had was nice...the room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. My initial pleasure was changed as we encountered some unforeseen issues. First, we were not informed when we booked through the front desk that the room was in an annex building...across a parking lot from... More

An average hotel room. The temps in the area are mild but AC is a must for us. The noise when the AC unit roared to life affected our sleep both nights. The hotel location is nice. It's within walking distance of the quaint charming downtown area. The walls are thin. We had some noisy children and a scolding Mom... More

Dear Alex T - I'm so glad you liked the location of our property! It's so nice to not worry about parking and just be able to walk one block to get to restaurants and shoppes! We do consider ourselves to be a hotel for the average traveler--that is, not too expensive and not too inexpensive. Our prices are above... More

Upon check in, I was greeted with an exceptionally nice gentleman at the desk. He was polite and helpful and looked generally happy. He recommended a very nice local restaurant that I did not see on Open Table. To my suprise, the restaurant was also great !! I will leave the name for my next review since I am reviewing... More

I went all out on this trip and reserved the room with the private pool. I paid a premium price to do so. Yes, it was nice to go downstairs to our own private pool, but not worth the rate for the room. The pool is roughly 20 x 7 and big enough to float around, but no laps. The... More

Dear Steve W--I see that you've stayed at several places in Blowing Rock but that ours was the most expensive place where you've stayed. Blowing Rock does have a number of motels in our village--our property pricing is higher than theirs--but lots lower than the luxury hotels and resorts right near us! The Private Pool in your suite (12' x... More
