We were at the Arbor House for the first time and it was a wonderful experience. The view from the balcony of the mountains & lake are spectacular. The house is beautiful, immaculately clean, spacious living room, nice bedroom with large bathroom, and charming. Jim, the innkeeper, is friendly and nice, and glad to accommodate special requests last minute. Delicious...

The setting is lovely! So easy to walk around the lake and neighborhood. You are near lots to do and see, but feel more remote. It's very quiet. We stayed in the apartment above the garage and liked the privacy from the main house. Bed was super comfortable as was the pull-out couch and we had everything that we needed....

We are so glad you enjoyed your time in the studio. We wish we could have meet you and hope the discount we provided since we could not deliver you continental breakfast. The studio is a family favorite with the best view of the lake and mountains. Take care and have a great summer. Warmest Regards, Theresa

After a very long day of traveling we arrived at Arbor House, it is a real Arts & Craft house turned into a beautiful B & B. We were greeted by the owners, Jim & Theresa Fuller, showed to our rooms which were large, well appointed with large bathrooms attached. We ask about local restaurants and they suggested a local...

One never knows what one will get when booking online -- especially a B&B. The photos usually look wonderful but when you arrive you are usually disappointed. Not so with Arbor House of Black Mountain! The home and surrounding area and Lake Tomahawk are just as nice as the photos depict. Even better, Theresa is a wonderful innkeeper. The small...

What a beautiful introduction line and the rest of the review is equally beautiful. We are so happy and humbled by your kind words. The way you two vacationed together is what I always envision for my sister and myself. Not sure what flavor is your favorite in the box of chocolates, but you are one of our favorite guests....

My wife and I knew only one thing when we were deciding on our honeymoon: we wanted to be near Asheville, NC. We wanted to hike; we wanted to visit town, see the Biltmore. We got to do all those things on our trip, but the glue that held it all together was the courtesy, warmth, and excellent care given...

Windows all around surrounding you with the best view in Black Mtn! The weather permitted us to sleep with them open all night like a sleeping porch with just the sounds of the Canadian geese to put us to sleep. Very comfortable bed and a sleeper sofa for my son. Spacious with gleaming wood floors, a small fridge, microwave, coffee...

We have read your review twice. Thank you so much for such a beautiful letter. Our studio is the best spot around Lake Tomahawk and so glad you took it all in. We also noticed how well you took care of our little slice of heaven. We do hope you come back and see us again. Warmest Regards, Theresa

The location of Arbor House is perfect in every way. It is nestled in the middle of many mountains, with it's own lake, walking trails, and within 15 minutes of Asheville. The house itself is beautiful and the grounds fit it perfectly. It was quiet and peaceful. The owners were awesome and really go above and beyond to make your...
