You feel welcome and like you've known Sara and Bob forever. The price was reasonable compared to other B&B's in the area. We were sad to hear that this is probably the last year they'll be open. The breakfast was good each day and was a great start to our plans each day.

Sara and Bob are sincere, gracious, and friendly hosts. Our party of 3 arrived hungry after a long day of driving and they found us something to eat right away. My husband enjoyed playing Bob's guitars. This seasonal B & B is clean, but tired and outdated. There was no shampoo provided and the bath towels were small and thin...

Picked it because of reviews but they didn’t provide any sense of reality. 1. it cost a little more than quoted on this website - still cheap compared to other choices in area. 2. train does pass thru nightly - several times & blows horn several times each passing. 3. house is right beside Interstate so we heard cars &...

Came here for a night with hubby. We didn't have very high expectations coming here and was still dumbfounded by the state of the rooms and decor. Our bed tilted to the sides and was two twins put together to make a king. Hence the crack in the middle. House decor jumps out at u as grandma garage sale throwbacks....

Stayed here for 1 night to see a show. We chose this place because of the proximity to Pisgah Brewing Co & very reasonable rates. It's an old home w/vintage decor, like staying at grandma's house. Bob & Sara were very friendly & welcoming. The room was clean & the beds comfortable. The passing trains did wake us up a...

If you are looking for a posh B&B this place is not for you. If you are looking for a clean bed, hot shower, and yummy breakfast -- definitely worth the stay. Bob and Sara are gracious hosts. The lodge is located 2 miles outside of Black Mountain. Don't let the exterior fool you. Yes, it's dated, but the inside...

We recently got to stay for five nights with Bob and Sarah. They are fantastic hosts and wonderful people who I catch myself missing and thinking about even now almost a month later. The Inn is clean and well located. Sarah and Bob both continue to run the Inn because they can and they want to. They seem to sincerely...

Bob and Sarah are terrific owners of this establishment. They have a wonderful place and very friendly. We enjoyed our stay at the quiet country setting. The breakfast was excellent and service is outstanding.

This was like staying in someone's home, and the rooms were like off one hallway. The main room was occupied by the owners and they lived in the room, mostly, and I AM 56 and was checked on as to when I would be "home". I'm sorry I felt the place was like an ancient christian ground where you would...
