My husband and I were recommended this beautiful warm and welcoming place from beech mountain resort ski and snowboarding! They are pet friendly and our room was beyond clean and even smelled fantastic! They serve you complementary breakfast but instead of going to a kitchen they bring you your breakfast to your room for you. We had the most beautiful...

We also stayed here on a Living Social deal and were very pleased! We had the Appalachian Room with a king bed, sofa, fireplace, fridge, microwave and coffee maker with a table and chairs. We had a spectacular view from our porch/deck with two rocking chairs overlooking the mountains. Although it was raining and snowing, it cleared both evenings so...

Perfect "rustic" hotel with all the modern conveniences at a fabulous price. Huge stone fireplace. Watched sunrise and set from our room set on the side of a mountain. 30 second walk to top notch restaurant and a staff that could not have been friendlier. Our two little dogs were welcome as well.

We were given a weekend stay as a gift from a relative and it was indeed a pleasant stay :) The rooms were well kept and maintained well. the view from the rooms were very scenic. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were also given a 25 $ gift voucher at the restaurant. It was a good choice and...

We booked archers inn now called Jackalopes Mountain Inn as a Living Social Deal for only $149 for two nights. We got a great cabin room with vaulted ceiling, leather sofa, fireplace, king bed, and porch with panoramic views. Then we had dinner in their restaurant which we also got a $15 voucher towards. It was amazing! The menu is...

We loved our room. Yes, it is in the woods on the side of a mountain so the whole rustic thing is to be expected but rustic does not mean Spartan. It was clean, plush and cozy. What we did not expect was the first class service. The owner and staff did everything they could to ensure that we would...

Just got back from a weekend at Archer's Mountain Inn and had an excellent time. The Inn is under new management and they are making lots of changes. I was surprised to read some of the other comments listed here since our experience was quite the opposite. Yes, it is rustic, and that is exactly what we expected from a...

Just returned from a weekend with friends and we were all quite pleased with our stay. The inn is under new ownership and the new owners are working very hard to make their guests stay as pleasant as possible. Our rooms were in Hawk's View and were very large with wood burning fireplaces. Yes, you must purchase your firestarter log...

I was not prepared for how rustic this Inn would be. It was extremely rustic! Even mouse traps under the sink. There was no secret what the people upstairs were doing! Every move made the wooden floors creek and crack. If I wanted a fire, I could buy wood down the mountain by the roadside, but needed to buy a...

Have been visiting here in the fall for several years. The Inn is under new ownership, which is a step in the right direction. The views from the room, deck, and restaurant are gorgeous. The full breakfast that use to be served is sorely missed as the sausage and egg biscuit brought to the room in a basket just doesnt...
