The motel is quiet and clean and rooms include a microwave and "dorm" type fridge. The breakfast area is small, but I was not able to sample the breakfast offerings. The owners are nice people and accommodating. I would stay there again. There is an outdoor pool area for summer weather (I did not ask if it is open or not in summer). On her own iniative one of the owners changed my room so it would be right next to the exit door for parking. The hotel did NOT have luggage carts so be prepared to carry your belongings in and out.
The inn appears old and dated from the outside. However we were pleasantly surprised that our room was clean, roomy, quiet and comfortable. We would stay here again. It’s expensive for what it is but it is close to Bethel Woods and easy to get to. Other hotels are ridiculously priced.
it was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Everything was working. The chairs and beds were comfortable. The temperature was well maintained. The personal were friendly and accommodating. It was quiet
This was the cleanest, nicest hotel we could find in this area with a decent price. Front desk was nice, breakfast was good, room was clean and nice size. Beds were comfortable. The entire hotel was clean. Would definitely stay again if in this area.
Absolutely one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered. Worst treatment and taking advantage of customers ever. Horrible. Never again. Ever. I see many bad reviews here. So I'm far from the only one. Truly infuriating. I cannot recommend.
I stayed here for 2 nights for a concert at Bethel Woods Center. I read the reviews and thought that maybe they might have been exaggerating a little with some of the reviews, and since rooms were scarce, I booked it. The reviews weren't lying. The rooms were musty-smelling and dusty. The beds were the worst beds that I have EVER slept on. Cardboard is actually more comfortable than these "mattresses". Around 2 a.m. on the first night, I was naming the springs that were cutting into my back and sides. I was actually left with bruises on my back in spots. We were even contemplating going to another hotel to see if there were rooms, but we wouldn't have gotten our second night fee back. The box springs were stained and nasty, the lamps were broken, the extra lock on the door didn't work, and there was so much ice buildup in the fridge freezer that we couldn't put anything in there. The hallways are heavily perfumed to the point of almost choking, so if you are sensitive to smells, you don't want to stay here! They also charged me $189 a night with a straight face. This is a $75 a night room at best. I left feeling like I got ripped off. To be fair, the front desk staff were ambivalent at best, but not rude. I didn't check out the pool since it was raining both days, but when we drove by it, it looked clean. Also, be aware that they will charge your card BEFORE you get there on the day of arrival and they REQUIRE a $100 deposit, although, for what, I have no idea. They have no store, no bar, no mini-bar, and if there is damage, it is obvious they don't fix things. If you can stay ANYWHERE else, do it! If you MUST stay here, be sure to bring a foam mattress so you can sleep!…
smells moldy and very horrible the area was amazing . and i had kids with me did not look like the pics the pool water was brown i need my money back it worth 50-80 dallors tops due the high over booked hotels the agent that give me that hotel should of been 100% about it and the rate was way to high and the kids got bit by the bugs .
It was just okay. The price was not worth the stay. This place needs to be updated temendously. Customer service needs to be better. Never received my deposit back. I will not be returning in the future.
Just returned from staying in the Days Inn in Wurtsboro NY The room was large with a Jaquozzi. It had a large living room and bedroom. Room was spotless. Very comfortable. The bed was a king and very comfortable. Will def return - the location is perfect for what we need. Had no dealing with the staff only upon arrival and departure and they were happy to be of help. .
This is not a $200 room - or if it is, it was seriously lacking. But this is what they charge on the weekend, so if you want to stay upstate last minute (we were college looking), then you find something and take it. Very much NOT worth this price. Dirty, musty, rusty radiator, smallish size room. Our room exit was partially blocked which was very odd. Turns out the light switch controlled all of the outlets so when we shut the light off, the fridge went off too. Didn't realize that until the morning.
