Not being a B&b person, I was pleasantly surprised with this choice. We were in room 21 (chamomile Corners). We felt very private, quiet and everyone we met was friendly. The breakfast was plentiful and fresh and loads of choices. The rooms were clean and fresh. My only complaint was the taste of the well water, but the B&B had...

This was our fist time staying here, but won't be our last. We stayed in a room in the Carriage House and it was fabulous. Very comfortable bed, quiet, nice 2 seater whirlpool tub. The food was also very good. Am looking forward to returning for another "get-a-way".

My wife and I stayed her for a short getaway and loved it. Room was spacious, well appointed, comfortable and very clean. The food is fantastic, and they have a great staff that will do anything to make your stay even better. The location is conveniently close both to town and Windham Mountain, next to the river in a peaceful...

My two sisters and I decided to stay 4 days at the Albergo Allegria for our special Sister's Weekend and we loved it! It was a perfect location to tour the Hudson River Art Trail in the Catskill Mountains. This self guided tour takes you to the sites that inspired America's first great landscape painting artists and also to their studios...

Nice, quiet, on-site FAMILY OWNED AND RUN property. Warm greeting, comfortable salon with book and DVD collection, clean room, nice snacks, excellent made-to-order breakfast plus fruits, home-made muffins, etc... Moderate price makes this excellent value. Nearby skiing and hiking in Catskills, seasonally.

We enjoyed a peaceful retreat at this wonderful inn. My husband loved road biking in the surrounding mountains. We both appreciated the friendly relaxed atmosphere, delicious breakfasts, and cozy clean rooms.

Quiet location with great options for dining but you won't need lunch after the wonderful breakfast they provide. I stay at B&Bs frequently and they have the experience and expertise in the business to make your stay very comfortable. Loved the feel of the entire beautiful old boarding house. We left early one a.m. and they packed a great "bag...

My 16 year old daughter and I stayed at Albergo for three nights in June during the World Class Mountain Bike Race in the Catskills. It was our first time staying at a B&B and it was absolutely heavenly! The premises was spotless as well as the room we stayed in. It had all the Victorian features that you would...

Our stay at Albergo Allegria was fantstic. Our every need was met with ease. The breakfast was excellent. Evenings by the fire pit were relaxing and fun, topped off with smores fixings brought out by the proprieter. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with an excellent mattress. The area is beautiful; great hikes abound, all close to the lodging....

We stayed at Albergo Allegria in November 2011 for only one night, but enjoyed it very much. Both the setting and the inn were beautiful and quiet; and our rooms were comfortable and nicely furnished. Breakfast was generous and delicious, and the hospitality was great. We hope to go back someday for a longer stay!
