The Inn at Whiteface was so welcoming to my friends and I during our ski trip. The staff went out of their way to make sure that we felt at home and the Inn itself is quite cozy. Check out the bar & restaurant "Rudy's" thats down the street! They have great live music, pool tables, a bunch of locals and generally amazing energy! I will be back to both places!

We were looking for our weekend getaway and we came across the Inn at Whiteface. We are so happy that we did, Ingrid is an amazing host. She is very helpful with places to visit or grabbing a bite to eat. The view from our room was amazing!! We could see the gondolas going up Whiteface Mountain. We loved spending time chatting with Ingrid and her little dog Maggie. The room was very clean, beds were very comfortable, plenty of towels etc. Very Adirondack, homey feeling. We felt like Ingrid was a member of our family, she makes her guest feel right at home. She made breakfast every morning, the coffee was always fresh and hot. We definitely found our little gem of 1 of our favorite places to stay. We will definitely be coming back next year to visit Ingrid.

I stayed at The Inn at Whiteface with my family and we all agreed that it was an amazing place to stay. The house is big, cozy and has a homely atmosphere – thanks to Ingrid, the owner, who likes to talk to her guests, makes delicious french toast (the american way) and has some good recommendations for what to experience in the area. The house has a big garden and a beautiful mountain view. You can easily go to Whiteface Mountain, Lake Placid area, Lake Saranac area and lots of hiking tracks from here.

The inn is very charming and location is perfect. Whiteface mountain is just around the corner. The rooms are nice and clean, the beds are comfy and the bathroom is equipped with everything that you might need (shampoo, conditioner, body wash and plenty of towels). You can also leave your ski equipment to dry in the lobby, which was very convenient. The hostess, Ingrid, made our stay even better. We loved spending time with her and her little dog, Maggie. Every morning Ingrid would make pancakes and scrambled eggs (extra charge) for us, which was perfect before heading out to the slopes. If you don’t care for hot breakfast there are plenty of other food choices with no charge. Thank you, Ingrid, for making us feel so welcome. My family can’t wait to come back.

We stayed at The Inn at Whiteface for one night. This is a charming little place with great decor and a warm hostess (Ingrid) who owns this place. She is a wonderful person and makes every effort to make you feel at home. The room we stayed in had the best view which overlooked the Whiteface Mountain (even the observatory on top of the mountain is visible). The property has great potential, but lacks overall quality and service. I found that the bed covers/decorative pillows were a bit dusty and the bathroom needs some upgrading. The entire place is managed by one person. Hiring additional staff might help make service better.

This inn is located in a beautiful spot at the base of Whiteface Mountain. It is such a warm, welcoming and homey place. Ingrid, the innkeeper, is very generous with her time (and food!) and is a great host. The inn itself is rustic and charming. The view from our room was just stunning. Thank you, Ingrid, for a lovely weekend.

Friendliest hosts ever! Hotels.com had messed up our reservation. We arrived late during peak season. There were no other hotels with availability in the area. Owner let us sleep in her living room. She brought in sheets for the couch and a rollaway bed. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. We stayed for breakfast which was delicious! There were a lot of repeat guests, so we are not alone thinking this is a great place!!! We will be back!!!

We had a fantastic time at the Inn at Whiteface. The innkeeper was so warm, friendly and accommodating. She made a birthday cake for my daughter and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we could want. The room was very comfortable and had a beautiful view of Whiteface. The Inn is very close to the mountain. Breakfast was outstanding! So much food! Great place to stay!

This Inn has a real throwback feel -- it's time warped from the 1970s in a charming and cozy way. It helps that the innkeeper is incredibly nice and welcoming to all her guests. The dining room (and some of the rooms) have gorgeous views of Whiteface, which is practically next door. This makes the Inn incredibly convenient for alpine skiiers. Breakfasts were a mix of cereals, bagels, coffee and tea, but Ingrid would volunteer to make the guests scrambled eggs with ham and cheese on one day, or French toast the next -- always delicious and welcome.

Booked directly from the website at the inn keepers recommendation which was cheaper then online. We stayed for 2 nights with our 2 children ages 9 & 11. The inn was quaint, cozy, quiet and very comfortable. Felt like home and the kids founds friends to play with. We will definitely look to return.
