We've been interested in exploring West Point, but just never got around to it. Then came this offer from Trip Advisor for 27% off on a room. Having never accepted one of their offers before, we decided to give it at try and take the opportunity to tour West Point. We reserved the basic room with one queen bed for...

We usually have loved our stays throughout the years here. The staff couldn't do enough, the bars/restaurants were cozy and accommodating, and the outside rooftop bar added a great touch. Then we started to realize the change. Unfriendly staff(especially at the front desk), a scam that if you order a drink with less rocks(ice) they charge you three to four...

My husband, teenage son and I were in the NYC area and had an extra day and evening, so we headed up to West Point. We have no direct connection to the US Military Academy (West Point) but we are very interested in American history, and are glad we made the trip. We booked a tour of the USMA that...

My husband and I stayed at the Thayer at least 5 separate times and were so excited to get married here this summer. The amenities are great, General Patton's and Zulu lounge are great for drinks and nice quick appetizers and meals. MacArthur's dinners are extravagant, and brunch is an absolute must, especially on Sunday's! The rooms are spacious and...

My son and I went to West Point to tour the academy and stayed at the Thayer Hotel. The front desk was very accommodating and we had a nice stay. The hotel is old, but the room was clean and you just can't beat the view of the Hudson River! We loved the grounds and the history of the hotel.

The Thayer is historic in many ways. I will not write about who stayed there or the history of the building. It is on the United States Military Academy grounds. In order to gain access to the installation there are two checkpoints. One at Thayer gate next to the hotel and other about 100 meters down Thayer road which allows...

We got a great price online for an Executive Suite on the West Point side. The rooms have clearly been renovated recently, and the space was very comfortable.
