My experience was EXCELLENT! From the staff that opened and greeted me at front door, the front desk staff, the room itself, brunch, valet parking - simply everything was excellent! This is clearly a historic property that is very well maintained.

We had a family reunion at the Thayer with about 20 in attendance. A total of 8 rooms were rented by the group. Each of the rooms had its own "personality". One room was the Pete Dawkins room, West Point Class of 1959, Heisman Trophy winner and Rhodes Scholar. Another room was dedicated to the West Point Class Class of...

Hotel was clean. Staff professional. Food was good, Room was quiet, bed comfortable. Exceeds expectations. Surroundings were beautiful, with views of the river. Work out area was good. Really enjoyed the USMA history and plaques. Stay here, it is an experience.

So much more convenient to on-post activities. Worth the money saved driving to other options. Staff and service was first class. Very good food, added some nice French wines as well. Carol and Kaitlyn were especially helpful!

Carol was great to me and my family! I'm a cadet who was just released on spring break and she made sure we had a great time. Best breakfast I've had in the Thayer. Amazing service. Get the pancakes!!

We returned to the Thayer to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary (we had our wedding reception there as well). It was a great way to celebrate our anniversary and we brought along our 2 year old daughter this time. She called it "the castle" and we dressed her up for dinner at MacArthur's. The staff at the restaurant and...

We took our friends to the Hotel Thayer Restaurant to celebrate their 60th Wedding Anniversary on March 9th. We wanted to do something special with them to celebrate this milestone in their life. We received a friendly welcome from the hostess who seated us at a very nice table overlooking the Hudson River. Our servers were Carol & Melissa who...

Our stay at the Thayer was exactly what we expected. You can't get any closer to West Point. Lots of charm and the history of each room adds to the interest. We stayed in a Jr. suite which was plenty of room for 4 of us. Would definitely like to do it again!

The food was delicious, and the staff provided friendly, yet efficient service. We often have work events in the restaurant, and it is always well-hosted and proper care is given to our sometimes numerous requests. We always ask for Sandy as our waitress. She's the best!
