Our second stay in a powered tent site and both stays were great. The grounds are always well kept and common areas very clean. Nice and quiet most of the time, with an acceptable level of buzz on the busy nights - just people having a good time. Convenient walking distance to town and about a 20 minute walk to...

Location was good, the unit was well laid out, lots of fresh bed linen and white fluffy towels. Ample supply of crockery, cutlery, etc. Mostly quite clean. Beds were a little hard but not necessarily uncomfortable. Strange that things like the exhaust vent and the top of the hairdryer unit had thick layer of dust (not the end of the...

We stayed here and hired a powered site. Had plenty of space for the car, tent and shelter. All facilities were clean and tidy. The town centre was walking distance with plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops to choose from. We would definitely stay again. Thank you :)

We stayed here one night. Facilities are good, although we didn't need the laundry or BBQ. It was easy to book online in advance from the UK and the welcome was friendly and reassuring. Ideal for a stopover.

We stayed for 2 nights in a campervan on a powered sites. The sites are huge. It wasn't very crowded when we were there mid January. The woman at reception was very helpful and checkin was very quick. Facilities were clean. The was a large to room with lots of information brochures. Showers were clean too and good undercover BBQ...

We stayed at Mercury Bay Holiday Park for 3 nights over Waitangi weekend, in a family unit. The hosts were very friendly, we arrived late, but they were accommodating in giving us access. The unit we stayed in was perfect for our needs and very clean and tidy. In fact the whole place seemed to be well run and organised....

We booked the Mercury Bay Holiday Park on very short notice and were happy that we were able to get accommodations for 2 families. The cabins were adequate for a 1 night stay. The campground was quiet and clean. The manager was helpful. Although it was such a short stay, our experience was positive.

We hired a one bedroom unit. Everything was clean and tidy but it could do with a coat of paint to freshen it up. The TV was tiny for the size of the lounge. We found the bedroom a bit cramped with bunk beds and a double bed in there. The park was quiet even with families staying. Its within...

Hi Thanks for taking the time to post some feedback. We have taken your comments on board and will follow them up. Your 1 bedroom unit is part of a larger Unit designed to fit up to 7 people, hence the bunks in with the main bed! We think we have the ideal location too - a little oasis with...

Whitianga (Mercury Bay) - overall a nice campground and location with large well-maintained sites and good facilities but recycling & garbage disposal which was poorly signed/managed and often improperly used. The trampoline for children was in very poor condition with broken springs and safety netting so not safe to use at all.

Thank you for taking the time to place a review. It is surprising that you found the recycling/rubbish areas difficult to find as they are well sign-posted around the camp and they are cleared daily, especially over these very busy summer weeks. We do find that some people place incorrect items in the bins sometimes but this is rectified as...

We hired a cabin for three nights at the park. The accommodation was clean, spacious and comfortable. The self catering facilities were great, and local supermarkets provided good value food. Registration was simple, and the owners consideration itself. The site is very well run, with fairly strict rules about noise, catering, parties and the supervision of children. Onsite barbecue, laundry...
