We were met by Kym, who manages the property, with such kindhearted hospitality. She was so genuine and helpful with everything, including our kayaking to Cathedral Cove, and especially our departure from Whitianga. The house is very welcoming. The rooms are spacious, with the common areas being well appointed with vaulted ceilings. The breakfast is a gourmet delight! The walk...

We're thrilled we were able to offer you an upgraded room after your accommodate fell through in Whitianga. There are exceptional activities and hiking adventures close to the Lodge, the Kayaking to Cathedral Cove is a definite favourite. Go Vino is fabulous, especially being such a short walk. It was a real pleasure to meet you both, and thank you...

We stayed here for part of our honeymoon and loved the house and Kym was fantastic, amazingly accommodating and great recommendations - the one thing I'd advise is to really be aware that the atrium room isn't private at all. Our travel agent advised us that it was a private atrium, but it's got glass doors right off the common...

Thank you for your review. Its unfortunate your agent wasn't more specific when confirming your accommodation at the Lodge. The information on the Atrium Suite is clear. Perhaps this was the last available room? We do have guests that feel the Atrium area is an extension of their suite. We're really happy you enjoyed your stay with us, as we...

My husband and I stayed at 970 for two nights and it was simply a sweet way to end our trip across New Zealand. Kym was fantastic, very knowledgeable, accommodating, professional, sweet, and the list could keep going. The inn itself, is spectacular, cozy, and very well done. It features fabulous modern architecture and wonderful outdoor space. The rooms are...

Such a beautiful and informative review. The location is perfect for all holiday essentials. Strolling, eating, relaxing at the beach, and the numerous activities all within a close proximity. The Lodge is designed to feel welcoming, modern and comfortable. During the winter months the fires project a cozy ambience perfect for a winter getaway. We really appreciate you taking the...

We were here for the first 3 days of our honeymoon in NZ. It was ideal and Kim and Jodie could not have been more helpful. We had the whole place to ourselves and were fortunate enough to be upgraded to the top suite. Looking round the rest of the rooms we would have been spoilt with any of them....

Thank you! We love being able to upgrade our guests to the Estuary where possible, especially when its such a special occasion! This a spot of luxury, and we're so fortunate to have such gorgeous hikes, and restaurants all within walking distance. All the best for the remainder of your New Zealand holiday. Kym

Our stay at 970 Lonely Bay totally blew us away. Kym and her team surpassed our expectations, going out of their way to ensure our stay was the best experience it could be. The stunning lodge provided an amazing place to relax and unwind in and the divine catering and hospitality was second-to-none. Very highly recommended. We came home feeling...

It was our pleasure to spoil you! The aim is for you to depart here feeling relaxed, and pampered. We're thrilled this was achieved. I'll pass on your comments to our chef Jo. She creates beautiful meals with such fresh and organic ingredients. So happy for such a special getaway, you were able to enjoy the entire Lodge. I sincerely...

We visited NZ for a couple of weeks. Overall a wonderful holiday. 970 was the absolute highlight, lovely accommodation and amazingly friendly and helpful hosts. The 2 bedroom Suite has the most beautiful deck and views, and we were served breakfast there one morning. Very much recommended.

Thank you for taking the time to review 970. Luckily we have wonderful restaurants within walking distance. Unfortunately we can't do much about the weather, which can be quite unpredictable in the Coromandel. Its lovely having the fires roaring lately as its cooling down. We're thrilled you enjoyed your stay and the yummy breakfasts. Kym

We stayed here as a treat for one night only and it was well worth the slightly high price tag. A stunning property, stylishly designed, but with lots of lovely little touches...the free not-so-mini bar being a particular highlight of ours. We were delighted to be upgraded to the large room which had a balcony running the full length of...

Tina. Thank you so much for taking the time to review 970. We try to upgrade our guests where possible, so we're happy the Estuary Suite was available during your short visit.
