My wife and I stayed in the extraordinary Estuary suite for 4 nights in January. It was dreamy peaceful, and we especially loved the sleeping loft and the private breakfast terrace. We know that other guests came and went during our visit but honestly we never saw anyone other than the amazing Kym and Jodi. Both ladies provided the absolutely...

And what a location! This amazing place is steps to Cook's Beach and many walking paths along the Shakespeare Cliffs and Preserve. The gracious and spacious home is elegantly yet comfortably designed and is wide open to the beautiful breezes. Manager Kim makes sure you have everything you need and cooks a heck of a great breakfast. Assistant Jodi is...

Arrived to a warm welcome from the host and offered tea with a snack. Lovely B & B in a great location and area. Room had everything you need and was clean. Breakfast was really good and help with evening meals etc including booking much appreciated. Wifi did not work, although it did connect, but overcome by the host allowing...

This is a perfect place to stay to explore some of the top beaches in Coromandel (Cathedral Cove, Hiaheh, Hot Sand). Having a rental car was helpful for the his location. The hosts, Kym and Jodi, were tremendously helpful. They anticipated our need for dinner reservations and had them without our thinking about it. A very nice hiking trail leads...

We really appreciate you taking the time to write a lovely review. There are certainly benefits of the Atrium Suite, thank you for acknowledging this. We are so fortunate to have such lovely hikes straight from the property. The early morning Cathedral Cove hike is a must do! Kym

Wonderful, familiar place to stay at in a wonderful and beautiful part of New Zealand!! Very good service, nice rooms and a great breakfast!! Also very private and close to a LOT of things to do!! I really can recommend this terrific B&B ! It can be some problems to find the way into the house, but that is not...

We're delighted you loved your stay at 970 Lonely Bay. Our street sign is rather discreet. Once you arrive, you see how we prefer to be a little hidden. We truly appreciate you taking the time to write this lovely review. Fortunately we do have great local activities and hikes, so guests can do as much or as little as...

We needed a venue for a single night to get us on our way for a 12 day driving tour of New Zealand. It's about a 3 hour drive from Auckland in the most serene and outstanding beauty . Now we wish we had committed to at least two nights. Kym and her team offer a very laid back yet...

Oh, it was just a shame you had only one night! I thoroughly enjoyed our short time adventuring, and chatting. What an absolute pleasure to meet such open, fun, and friendly guests. I really hope you make it back with a little more time! Thanks so much for the lovely glowing review. We take pride in our brekkie, and love...

Having really enjoyed our stay through Christmas of 2015, we decided to revisit for two days just prior to Christmas 2016. Sometimes going back can be a mistake, but this was certainly not the case with 970 Lonely Bay. Great room, great breakfasts and Kym and Jodie both have a "nothing is any trouble" attitude, whilst the location as anticipated...

Our family booked out Lonely Bay Lodge for the weekend to host our wedding in October 2016. Using it as our accommodation and wedding venue meant that our immediate family all got to stay together (sleeps 10) and was such a treat for everyone! We found the lodge ideal for our intimate wedding of 48 people. Our guests couldn’t get...

Thanks Amanda, we had such a great time organising, and participating in your lovely wedding. Everything ran so smoothly! It was such a pleasure to work with such relaxed, and easy guests. Although the weather wasn't perfect, it was such a special day. Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. We hope to be hosting...

Lovely accommodation with separate space for all guests if required, in a lovely location from where we visited Cathedral Cove, Cooks Beach and Hot water beach. We would like to have stayed longer. There were great people looking after you - Particularly Kim who offered great advice and took such good care of us. Thank you

It was our pleasure, we enjoy taking great care of our guests, Jane is always thrilled to hear how the guests love her gardens - so I've passed this on. We appreciate you taking the time to write a review. Our paths may just cross over your side of the world next :-) Kym

A perfect location for a couple of quiet days - close to some of the Coromandel peninsula highlights. First tip- put Cooks Beach into the GPS rather than Coromandel, and don't let the machine convince you otherwise. Or you will be in for a long drive on some windy roads(or a lengthy walk from the ferry). After the drive from...

Thank you for such a lovely review. We do warn guests to pop Cooks Beach into their GPS, as you discovered a rather long leisurely, and often tiresome drive is the alternative. The walks from the property are stunning. I do encourage guests to hike the Cathedral Cove track for sunrise to avoid the crowds. We're so thrilled you enjoyed...
