This is better than a first class hotel. You get personal service from Jodie and Kim, as well as a huge room with sitting area, the most comfortable bed, balcony, and free drinks and nibbles. We had free access to the whole lodge, even when the staff were not there. All set in a beautiful garden with views across the...

We enjoyed a wonderful 3 night stay in this idyllic B&B. The breakfasts are to die for! Great location for exploring nearby both on foot and by car. Staff were so friendly and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble. Dinner reservations were quickly arranged and lots of tips given for how to spend our time. It was always great...

I'm not a B & B person, but this place was amazing. Location , service and style make it a 5 star, not 4. If you can afford this place you won't be disappointed. We basically had 1200 sq ft of luxurious space to ourselves and the breakfast was over the top. I didn't think it was possible to get...

This is a delightful place to stay in the Cook's Beach/Whitianga area. It is convenient to the beach itself, Shakespeare Cliff (a must do walk and photo opportunity), the restaurants of Whitianga (by short ferry ride), Hahei, Hot Water Beach, and Cathedral Cove. We were greeted with a bottle of wine and cheese, and lots of helpful advice. Kym set...

We love it when guests take our advise on the sunrise hike to Cathedral Cove. A great way to miss the crowds and the traffic, and what a way to start the day! In response to your minor negatives - We have a softer pillow options in each of the wardrobes. Its unfortunate you didn't mention this while you were...

My wife and I stayed in the extraordinary Estuary suite for 4 nights in January. It was dreamy peaceful, and we especially loved the sleeping loft and the private breakfast terrace. We know that other guests came and went during our visit but honestly we never saw anyone other than the amazing Kym and Jodi. Both ladies provided the absolutely...

Gary, you're just the kind of guests we'd love to just move in and share the Lodge with! Thank you for such enjoyable company, the wonderful informative conversations, advise, and relaxed and friendly attitudes. And, especially your love of the property. This is, without a doubt one of the loveliest reviews we've received. We're looking forward to welcoming you back...

And what a location! This amazing place is steps to Cook's Beach and many walking paths along the Shakespeare Cliffs and Preserve. The gracious and spacious home is elegantly yet comfortably designed and is wide open to the beautiful breezes. Manager Kim makes sure you have everything you need and cooks a heck of a great breakfast. Assistant Jodi is...

Arrived to a warm welcome from the host and offered tea with a snack. Lovely B & B in a great location and area. Room had everything you need and was clean. We appreciate you taking the time to write this review. All our rooms have additional pillows in the wardrobe for those who prefer feather, or a softer option. Its unfortunate you didn't mention this during your stay. Occasionally in rural areas, we do have internet trouble. This is out of our control, and in this instance, has since been rectified....

This is a perfect place to stay to explore some of the top beaches in Coromandel (Cathedral Cove, Hiaheh, Hot Sand). Having a rental car was helpful for the his location. The hosts, Kym and Jodi, were tremendously helpful. They anticipated our need for dinner reservations and had them without our thinking about it. A very nice hiking trail leads...
