A note in the guestbook reads: "When we booked Sal Salis, we thought this would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Now after spending some days at the place, we will make every effort to come back!" Well that sounds like us. We stayed at Sal Salis for some days at the very beginning in 2008 and had planned to come back...

Love it - you have caught an eight year itch .... and we at Sal Salis will be so pleased to have you back again and again! Love your review style too - sometimes I think I should have an annual award for the most interesting, quirky and beautiful review. Seriously however, thank you for taking the time to write,...

Staying at Sal Salis is a rare treat. From starry nights, beautiful sunsets, delicious meals, and a stunning beach, you will enjoy every minute. You'll meet like-minded travellers from around the world (and a few fury and feathered locals), enjoy a spectacular beach, and eat and drink until you are full and happy. Thanks so much Jason, we really appreciate your review and we LOVE that you are helping us to set-the-scene for prospective travellers! We love our patch of Australia and we love sharing it with travellers and yes we are members of Luxury Lodges of Australia but as you so rightly point out, we don't offer traditional luxury! We offer experiential...

This is at great place to enjoy the rugged coastal area of Western Australia's Ningaloo reef. There are plenty of budget resorts around but this one is way above all others for that bit of luxury which is good to enjoy once in awhile. Our tent was very comfortable even in a gale force wind which we suffered one night....

Thank you so very much for your review. We are thrilled that you enjoyed your Ningaloo experience. I agree with you about the Butcher birds, their songs are beautiful! We are often raided by groups of sulphur crested cockatoos who are forever hopeful they will share your breakfast with you .... I wonder if you had encounters with those cheeky...

We stayed for 4 nights and could have happily stayed another 2. One honeymoon tent (since they were almost booked out) which was in a great location and had a lovely balcony with views over the ocean and sand dunes. Even got a wallaby and joey on the deck in the morning. The other tent was a regular which we...

Thank you for taking the time to review Sal Salis and for embracing our simple, eco-luxe style! You guys really connected with Ningaloo, and at the same time you relaxed into disconnecting from the rest of the world - something we all need more and more in our busy lives. We are thrilled you chose use for your fabulous adventure...

We managed to get away to Sal Salis for the short time of 3 days on 24th July. Amanda Fisher booked everything and was so wonderful and helpful,I couldn't have asked for more. This was a surprise for my husband and what a wonderful surprise he had. We flew from Sydney and after our long journey arrived to a birthday...

Dear Joseph, I have spoken to the team as of course we are all disappointed by your review and yet at the same time, we are all somewhat perplexed. We note that you were with us at a time when there was a group in-house and so your guiding experiences were very much personalised (separate to the group) and included...

We spent 3 nights at Sal Salis as a family with two young kids (4&7). The kids really enjoyed their exposure to nature; at the beach, on the reef and in the Cape Range National Park. We were a bit unlucky to get a lot of rain while there; I think that is quite unusual. The place isn't built for...

Dear Jeremy, Thank you for taking the time to review Sal Salis. We are very aware how lucky we are to be in such a beautiful natural location ... we love our pink rocks too! Overall we really enjoyed our time at Sal Salis. We stayed for 5 days but I think 3 days would be about right. The food was excellent. We had a lot of rain and wind which was unlucky. The property doesn't cope well with rain as our tent leaked and inadequate children's umbrellas were provided. The staff were excellent and...

Thank you for your review, Brendan is thrilled to know you enjoyed his meals and we are all pleased that on the whole you enjoyed your time with us. We admit we were caught on-the-hop with the umbrella situation, this July has been remarkably wet and the town of Exmouth does not stock a decent golf-style umbrella. They are now...
