After reading the reviews, I was very nearly put off staying at this place, but due to the lack of budget accommodation down south I decided just to go for it, and it really wasn't that bad. This hostel is home for many backpackers who are doing regional work in the area, and if you stay in the dorms, they...

Spent the weekend here, it's in a lovely location and the rooms are ok for a backpackers but there was no free shuttle into town as it was stated on there website and no tv with movies also as stated on the website. But overall it was I nice place I'm not sure if I would stay again though.

Located roughly 30' walking from the centre, this hostel offers clean rooms, spacious dorms, a big kitchen and a huge lounge. Plus, of course, the beach right in front of it. Staff is friendly and helpful. As almost in all hostels in western Australia, most guests seem to be long-term residents. Bike-rental is only $15.-/day (good-deal!). Downsides: no lockers, wifi...

This year I got my farm job back so decided to go back to the same hostel with other backpackers after a westcoast trip. The same staff member alban verbally abused me on my...

This YHA is well managed by Andy and his assistant, Will. Both are easy to talk to and helpful. Hostel is located at the far end of Geographe Bay Road and therefore a bit distant but lovely walk from Dunsborough. There is a local bus and the hostel shuttle. But WA is widespread and attractions near Dunsborough are no exception....

My husband and I stayed in our own private room. I was worried walking to the room that it might be noisy because of the creaky floor boards but luckily we had a quiet room. Our room had a mini fridge and pedis tool fan. The bed was comfy and the sheets were clean. Very chilled beach you vibe, I...
