All you could wish for in a motel, very clean, easy parking, good hot water, comfortable beds, roomy, properly self contained, decent sized fridge, plenty of power points for recharging phones etc, quiet location yet close to a great hotel/restaurant and the beach.
Stopped into Port Denison for an overnight stay. Caravan parks booked out. Drove around town and came across this Hidden Gem in Paradise. Room 1...Best view of the sunsets over the bay. Relaxing and peaceful. Tavern, 1 minute stroll down the laneway and Celebrations,Fish n Chip Takeaway 30 seconds walk. Stayed 2 nights. Vicki the host was very pleasant. Unit had 1 room QS bed, 2nd room had 3 singles. Neat and tidy. Great for couples or families. Value for money. Drove to Geraldton for the day and return journey, drove into Greenough River. Lots of places to stop and find out about the history of Greenough with afternoon tea.
Our initial stay was for one night only on our way to Exmouth. Booked online which was a simple process our conversations with Vicki was very helpful and friendly ...so much so we stayed 2 nights on our way home. Units were clean and tidy and location was fabulous. Would not hesitate to stay again.
Stayed here once again. This time for the blessing of the (lobster fishing) fleet. Always a great choice for accommodation in Port Denison. The units are spotlessly clean, well furnished and maintained and are in an excellent quiet location. Views of the marina and adjacent to the port stores. A short walk to Southerlies tavern and the marina precinct. The onsite manager is very friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to returning again.
PDHU was an ideal choice. It is centrally located in Port Denison and close enough to Dongara and Geraldton to provide easy access. The accommodation was great value for money: very clean, with all of the essentials, friendly/helpful staff, no frills but no fuss. It was close to most of the services in Port Denison and met our needs admirably. We spent 3 days there and would recommend it highly.
The units are on a rise, overlooking the small boat harbour, foreshore reserve and beach. Great location. The owner-managers were very thoughtful and helpful. The unit was very clean and equipped well enough. Unfortunately our unit had the bathroom and second bedroom, not the living area, facing the view.
The two bedroom unit was a good size for sharing with my elderly parents for our two night stay while we explored the region. There was room to move and the kitchen was very handy, even though we usually ate at the pub which is less than two minutes' walk away. Beds were comfortable, there was free wifi, no noise at night and everything was clean. Location was great - across the road from the marina and the beach-front walk path. As well as the pub there is a small grocery store and fish and chip shop nearby. The units are older style, and so they come with the usual quirks of older buildings - eg the shower taking just a little bit longer to drain. But we enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again.
Really enjoyed out stay and saw a spectacular sunset from the rear bedroom window across to the water. The units are large, bright and very clean with two seperate bedrooms and a large living area. Everything was supplied in the self-contained kitchen. Port Denison is a great place to stay when visiting the wildflowers because Coalseam Conservation Park is only 45 minutes drive away. If possible, try to book Unit 1 because that has the best water views.
Great place to stay, the unit is fully equiped and we will definitely book here again. The management here are very friendly and went out of there way to ensure we had a good stay. The units are situated overlooking the beach with restaurants, tavern and shops within walking distance
Great location, walk to lots of things on foreshore, pub, shop etc. free wifi with login from office Very clean and well equipped. Friendly host happy to make recommendations. Easy path down the back if you don't want to walk around the road. Aircon good and quiet.
