Advertised as a Resort it is more like a SHANTY TOWN IN A HORROR MOVIE. Driving in there is children's play equipment deteriorated from the sun with knee high weeds growing in the sand around it, the opposite side is what was once a tennis court with the cyclone fencing fallen onto the court. All over the grounds were barren...

From the moment we arrived we were made welcome! The showers are stained .... So what no where in Denham or Monkey Mia can you stay for this price, the beach is so isolated with Dugongs and Dolphins what more can you ask? Good fishing... lovely to walk on beach or in the sand dunes the fire pits are a...

I think that the name of the place gives it disservice. If you think of resort you think of something different and getting disapointed, however this is beautiful location, quiet and comfortable. I agree with other reviews that it is tired and in need of some TLC but saying that it is comfortable and quite pleasant. The only problem for me...

We stayed her on April 2016 with our 3 children and previously in 2003 without children and although not much had changed in this time, there is something fantastic about Nanga Bay. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Although the facilities are quite run down it really is a brilliant resort and gives you all you need for a...

Called in here for a stopover with friends and ended up staying extra nights. Very tired and run down, which was evident as you drove past the overgrown children's playground and disused tennis courts falling down fences. A large area with a variety of accommodation. In its heyday would have been have been quite a popular place with all ages....

Although it is called a resort, there is no way that this is a correct description of Nanga Bay Resort. We stayed here quite by chance and without any prior knowledge for two nights whilst touring the area because of its fabulous location in a wonderful sandy desereted bay and because we have a mobile home and are completely self...

Our family along with a couple of friends stayed here for 4 nights. We love this place and had a fantastic holiday. I feel the advertising of this caravan park is wrong and should be updated to "Nanga Bush Camp" If you are looking for a resort do not stay here. If you are looking for a friendly, laid back,...

I had a short but memorable stay at Nanga Bay Resort. The resort is due for some TLC, but the manager, Shauna, could not have been more helpful, with information, introductions to the other residents and invitations to the activities that were planned in the coming days. It felt like a community, rather than a campground. With some TLC it...
