Only the birds and cicadas were occasionally audible but it was remarkably quiet. This property was once a timber conservators village. Foresters, their axes and saws have long gone. The property is now in private ownership. The buildings have been maintained to a very high standard and are now holiday cottages. A cheese factory also shares the site. The sign... More

We have gone to these cottages couple of year back and we had great time. This time around it was the worst experience we ever had.Extremely rude management.Filthy bedding and linens. We were asked to park ours car on the roads and not near the chalets. Will never go back again.

Please put yourself in our shoes. You check in, we explain where you can and can’t park, two minutes later two cars find a way around the bollards where it was specifically told you could not park. My wife, in sheer panic, managed to stop you in time. Had she not reacted so quickly your car could have dropped into... More

We just love the beauty and natural-ness of Lewana. Ben and Melody are so welcoming and really care about their guests, property and animals. We've been staying at Lewana for restful restorative family time for the last 10 years. We love to curl up with a book or play board games in front of the fire, go for walks and... More

We have had the pleasure of staying at Lewana Cottages for more than 20 years. Ben and Melody have owned them for about 13 years and have created a unique holiday destination for everyone to enjoy. They share what they own, willingly and openingly. It is hospitality at its very best! Lewana is unpretenious, its cottages warm and welcoming and... More

We had a Deals.com voucher for 2 nights here. Stayed here for 1 night due to work commitments end of June. 3 hour drive from Perth we finally reached our destination. Definitely beautiful scenery for the long windy road on Nannup Rd. The Cottage was exactly what you would expect. Cosy and comfy. Rooms were all clean, unfortunately our fire... More

We have never been inspired to write a review before but just had to comment on our stay at Lewana. We would heartily recommend these cottages to anyone who would like a rest for their soul, without the constant demands of modern technology; with awesome photo opportunities and hosts who go over and above the call of duty. Our party... More

We stayed here over the weekend and had a great time with two young toddlers. It was lovely arriving and having a cosy fire already lit. We had a ball wandering and exploring. The animals and play equipment were an added bonus. Thank you so much to Ben and Melody.

Stayed during the April school holidays and looking forward to a future visit. Clean comfortable accommodation with a very Australiana feel. Lovely wood fires and comfortable beds and a kitchen with every thing you would need. The best value in the area. Close to Balingup and Nannup (15 mins). Tips: 1. No TV reception but you can bring DVD's for... More

We stayed as part of a group of 11 adults and 8 kids in three cottages. The cottages were basic, but that is exactly what we expected and met our needs perfectly. The kids were off and racing from the time they arrived, playing on the numerous pieces of play equipment around the grounds, and getting in amongst the numerous... More
