My father saw this property and thought I would love this experience as I love old country towns and buildings with charm. Unfortunately for him, it was a waste of his money because it was a birthday gift that neither me nor my husband enjoyed. Phil was extremely rude and made us feel very uncomfortable before even arriving, telling me...

Although the property itself was very charming, the hospitality was the worst we've ever experienced. The host, Phil, made us feel uncomfortable before we even arrived and abused my wife calling her "the booking from hell" The shower was filthy, the building was in disrepair, misleading advertising (no bath and no undercover parking) and to finish it off being rushed...

We loved our stay at Clevedon Manor. The house is beautifully furnished in an old world style and the breakfast was great. The location is good, too, right in the centre of the town, so you could even walk from the railway station.

If you like icy welcome, if you don't need internet or like wasting a lot of time trying to connect your laptop, if you're not afraid of using antique coffee machine and rather dirty mugs, if you're happy with a very average breakfast you will love Clevedon Manor. Otherwise, choose another B and B.

Generally good accomadation. I understand owners were away when we stayed, perhaps contributed to some lacklustre to the experience and general presentation. Some details seemed to be over looked.Overall better than staying at hotel.

Stayed at Clevedon Manor with a group of friends for one night and was the perfect venue for the special event birthday we were celebrating. The fabulous dining room was ideal for drinks and eats that we had brought along and the separate lounge was also a space we had available for gathering. Our room had a king size bed...

The place was rather hidden despite being on the main road as its behind a huge hedge. First impressions were good, the place exuded an old world feel with modern comforts thrown in. Room was clean and spacious. The lounge and dining area I feel are the highlights of the place. Didn't see much of the garden as it was...

We had a lovely stay at the Clevedon and a very welcoming host Phillip was excellent.. Short stroll to the town and castlemaine gallery and 7 min from the train station.. We went to the good table down the road for dinner and came back to accommodation with the heater going and some lovely port/sherry on the house.. Really felt...
