stayed here with our young daughter! Lovely little cabins and they provided a travel cot. Lovely remote stay in the forest but not so great if you like your creature comforts! Was literally a wooden cabin in the forest, very twee but not really that luxurious with a plastic little shower and oven grill microwave type cooker.

I can't imagine a nicer place. So lovely and tranquil. It's a long way from California, but I hope to return soon! ♡ The room had everything we needed (and more). Just bring yourselves. And awaken to the lovely sound of birdsong and serenity.

We stayed 2 nights in the beautiful rainforest environment Koompartoo Retreat offers. Wonderful welcoming host, quiet and secluded but only minutes from Bellingen - well stocked and comfortable. Well priced and well appointed, a real pleasure to stay! Highly recommended!

We recently stayed at Koompartoo Retreat as a stop over enroute to byron bay. When I booked this I was won over by the owner over the phone, a lovely lady called Erica. I was a little nervous as there were no recent reviews on stays or trip advisor but when I got there I was pleasantly surprised. The accommodation...

A great last minute stay, quiet, peaceful and private. I would highly recommend, it has everything you need even a BBQ on the verandah. The only thing needed is a complimentary breakfast, for eg, cereal, Muesli yoghurt and fruit included for the pricing.

Koompartoo Retreat has a peace and magic of its own. The chalets are private and quiet and tucked away, so you feel like you have the place to yourself. We loved sitting on the balcony amongst the treetops watching and listening to the birds, while we cooked up a bbq and had a wine. Equally, watching a movie in candlelight...

Perched amongst the tree tops, these wooden cabins are a quiet oasis in what can be a very busy village. Great for couples though we had our daughter with use and the cabin had a single bed in an alcove that could be screened with a curtain. If you are looking for peace and quiet just a short walk to...

What a magical place to come for some much needed R&R. Set high amongst the tree tops in well appointed rustic cabins, this is truly a relaxing retreat within a 5 minute walk to the centre of town. Great cafés, interesting shops, best markets in NSW, Bellingen is wonderful destination.

We stayed at Koompartoo for the October long weekend for two nights & absolutely loved the location. So close to town and yet we felt as if we were in the wilderness!!! The cabins are surrounded by lush foliage and are very spacious and clean. It was well equipped with everything you would need on holiday including an iPod Dock,...

We stayed with Erika in one of her lovely chalets for a week and it was a perfect place to explore the area. Bellingen is just a few minutes walk from the accommodation and is a cute little town with a great bakery! The chalets are really comfortable and cozy .. .. with all the amenities. Sitting on the deck...
