Lovely short stay 4 night DBB at the New Inn at a reasonable cost. Seamless transfer from aeroplane to bus to boat to tractor. The staff were very professional and friendly - nothing too much trouble - rooms were immaculately clean, lovely sea views, log fire, cake and tea in the afternoon. Breakfast was superb. Very generous portions for dinner...

We had booked the winter escape break of 4 nights DBB and had a really nice stay. A few negatives first: this was end of the season, so not much was happening on any of the islands, so island hopping was not possible as the boat services really shut down. No chance of going to St Agnes or St Martins...

I have just returned with my wife from a four night weekend break at The New Inn. Clearly it is difficult to review anywhere that is just starting its low, low season but Tresco is a fantastic venue for a quiet weekend at this time of year, with mild weather and plenty of walking available. All flights, boats, transfers etc...

We thoroughly enjoyed a 4 night Winter Warmer break at the New Inn. At this time of year I think that we were lucky to find a hotel in the Isles of Scilly that were still offering Dinner, Bed & Breakfast as most others that are still open are only offering B & B. The food was very good with...

Stayed here in October with my partner. Firstly, let me say that getting here is an adventure car, plane and boat and finally an electric bus. The hotel/inn is in a central location and well situated to explore the island. I paid for a sea view and was not disappointed. The food is good, much of it from the sea. Unfortunately...

I've been visiting this pub since I was a child and now I'm 32. The food is always scrumptious, the staff are lovely and it's always relaxed and cozy. But each year the prices increase. And this year, it's become crazy. £14 for a burger and chips. £26 for a fillet steak. Some people have the cash and are happy...

Seriously bad vfm. I understand the transportation costs, but the drinks prices are unacceptable, and ordinary pub food (e.g. Thin underspiced monk fish curry) is offered at restaurant prices. They know they have a monopoly and, frankly, exploit it.

Friendly greeting, good rooms are spotless, and a heated pool outside too! The Pub is the 'centre' of the island, has a good vibe, and excellent food. We enjoyed DB & B terms which included the transfers. Very friendly, helpful staff

My friend and I have just returned from a visit to this lovely Inn. The bedrooms were spotlessly clean and had a stunning views across the bay. The food was delicious. But if I had to pick one thing which impressed me most it was the helpful and accommodating staff . They just could not do enough for us and...
