Spent a lovely week with family in Seahorse which is in the grounds of the now demolished Island Hotel. It was perfect - gorgeous view from the outside sitting area of the beach and the sea, a stones throw away. The house itself is perfectly equipped down to the last detail - couldn't fault it in anyway. There were six... More

Tresco is a place I have wanted to visit for over 20 years and finally to celebrate a special birthday my husband arranged a surprise trip for me. We flew from Exeter to St Mary's, be warned they are very strict on luggage weight and size including handbags! We were met and transported to the docks where we met up... More

Just returned from what should have been a 3 night stay, but because of cancelled IOS flight ( see review) ended up paying for 3 nights, staying for 2. Of course the weather is not their fault, but there is an arrogant complacency from the estate. A refund on the unused breakfast portion of our stay, or even a voucher... More

Tresco is a very special place and Sea Garden Cottage is a lovely location with views of the sand and water. Couldn't fault anything about the whole Tresco experience, we will be back. Particularly enjoyed the walk over to Bryer at low tide, quite an adventure.

Our cottage 'Clam' had the 'wow' factor. As soon as we entered we were overcome with the quality of the facilities. The view across the beautiful garden to the bay was a constant source of pleasure and the nesting swallows outside were the icing on the cake. The cottages are a perfect base from which to explore this beautiful and... More

This was our first visit to the Isles of Scilly which did not get off to a great start as our flight from Newquay was cancelled due to fog. We were driven an hour to Penzance to catch the boat for a two and a half hour sail to St Mary's followed by a launch to Tresco. Having been transported... More

After many years living on Scilly, this was our first stay on Tresco. We went on gig weekend, which for those who don't know, is, "The World Pilot Gig Championships". The gigs are 6 oared rowing boats, originally used to take pilots to sailing ships. This became a race, with the first to the ship getting to put their pilot... More

As soon as you arrive at the cottage you realise that you have found something special. The gardens are imaginative with a lovely selection of plants and beautifully maintained. Our cottage was on the edge of the sea and was perfect in every way. The rooms were large, light and airy with an upstairs balcony and downstairs terrace. The sitting... More

They really thought of everything when they created these delightful cottages. They all have fabulous sea views with a balcony and garden. They are incredibly tastefully furnished. The china is Sophie Conran. I mean! Home made shortbread is regularly replenished. The toiletries are Ren. There is Sky tv - if you ever have time to watch. These cottages are simply... More
