Our second visit to this Parador. A lovely building with beautiful rooms and close to the historic centre. It is quieter than other Paradors which is no bad thing, though it meant the restaurant at dinner lacked atmosphere, But the dinner was one of the best we have had in a Parador and a bargain at 26 Euros. Breakfast was...

The food was excellent, everyone worked hard to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The car parking is limited but the staff did their best to fit us in. Interesting building. Wifi variable in room but fine downstairs.

My partner and I very much enjoyed our relaxing afternoon and night at the Parador after walking 22 km on the Portuguese Camino. This Parador is typical of others I have enjoyed, historic, elegant and comfortable. The vibe is that of a small boutique hotel, the staff is the only disappointment, they may be understaffed. When I was relaxing in...

We stayed here for one night during our Camino. Another Parador with poor A/C and hard beds. Breakfast was very good and we enjoyed the location of this hotel. We purchased a water from the bar and could not believe what they charge for water! We should have purchased water in town but everything was closed after we had dinner....

I stayed in this hotel once before whilst doing Camino and enjoyed the luxury of a decent room after a week of hostels. I returned again this week and noticed that as previous the front desk don't appear too happy to have scruffy backpackers in the hotel even though we are paying the full rate. We asked if a small...

Waiting until 8:30pm for the restaurant to open after an 8 and a half day on the Portuguese Camino was bad enough but understandable in Spain but sitting at a table for over an hour waiting for a glass of wine and a soup starter was just not on . What's more the tourists in the dining room seemed to...

This is a lovely property at the edge of the historic district. I had room 446 on the top floor. It had twin beds, pushed very close together.  It is far away from the elevator, almost at the end of the hall and very quiet.    Bathroom was good size.  There is a nice lounge area just around the corner from...

We stayed 1 night while biking the Camino. Rooms was spacious with couch, coffee table, etc. Great location in the center of charming Pontevedra. Wifi did not work but was actually nice to not have access to wifi for us. Buffet breakfast was the standard- meats, bread, juice, coffee, tortilla espanol. Architecture of building is lovely as well. Overall, great...

This is an old style hotel located in the Old Town of Pontevedra. The staff were very pleasant. There was a reasonable selection of food for breakfast. The room was comfortable and had plenty of character. Bed was very comfortable as well. This is the 1st time I have stayed in a Parador and judging by the other ones I...

Originally went to pontevedra for the vuelta start in nearby Marin. The hotel is fantastic to view as you drive round to it and the staff are very helpful in assisting you to park in the tight courtyard. Beautiful inside and it's worthwhile relaxing on the terrace with some of Galicia's red wine. Service was excellent and always with a...
