We had a big room with a modern, clean bathroom. There is public parking just outside. We parked our car and walked all around Saint-Emilion. For an overnight stay, it was satisfactory. My husband was not a fan of the breakfast. I suppose we got spoiled by the buffet breakfasts in our other hotels. We were served poached apples which...

We had a bad experience with this hotel. They gave us a room outside the main building, very small, narrow and unconfortable. The bed was so bad!! They said to us that this was the room assigned if it had been booked (through web plataforms) as "special offer". SO BE CAREFUL!! The worse thing was that the water heater was...

What a lovely surprise to have stayed with Natasha at Ovaline, we stayed in Room 3. The Room was superb and had everything you could have wished for including a small kitchen area if you wished to stay in for the evening and relax. Breakfast was first class out in the garden in the morning and you can book your...

We had the Rugby Room at Les Chambres d'Ovaline. It was large and tastefully decorated with a large round table with two chairs, a desk and an armchair as well. The bathroom had a shower (no bath) and there were two wash basins. There was a bar fridge with freezer in the room, along with a kettle and tea/coffee making...

This B&B is very adorable. The room was well decorated and clean; however, it was quite warm. The breakfast wasn't included in the price of the room which we found to be odd since the breakfast was waiting for us prepared on the terrace and no mention was made that taking it would cost extra. We had to pay cash...

For those looking for a individually owned/managed B&B with charm and fantastic rooms you really can't do better than Les Chambres d'Ovaline. The owner couldn't be more welcoming and helpful and make sure you're hungry at breakfast as it takes plenty of time to enjoy all that's offered. If you're visiting St Emillion, stay over at least one night and...

We stayed here two years ago on route to Spain and booked again this year well in advance. Last time, we approached from the west, and the B&B is right at the start of the town. This time, however, we came from a different direction and the Satnav tried to take us via a 'no through' road at the top...

Although we had only one night in St Emilion (I would recommend at least 2 nights for first-timers), we had a great time. Ovaline B&B was the perfect location for us: very easy to find and park nearby, conveniently located within the cute and historical city. Our room was immaculate, very nicely appointed with unique art and great taste. Graziella,...

Saint-Emilion was a real find. A classic small French town totally surrounded by vineyards. The place is all about wine, with many wine tours and wine shops to choose from. And Les Chambres d'Ovaline was the perfect place to stay. Easy to access by car and then convenient to walking throughout the town. We especially enjoyed the hostess Graciella, who...

This was a superb venue for a one night stay in St Emilion. Centrally located, yet easy to enter and leave town by car. The room was spacious and luxuriously appointed. Breakfast was delicious with much home made produce. The welcome was extremely friendly. Faultless.
