This was an excellent choice for both value and location. The staff is friendly, efficient, and helpful. Our room the simple, was well appointed and in excellent condition with a nice bathroom with lots of counter space. The do have an excellent elevator which was not noted on so reviews.

The medieval town of Saint-Emilion is unique. It's really nice to stay in the town and walk around at night. We stayed in the building across from the main hotel. The room was nice if not fancy but the air conditioner was noisy. There is secure free parking, which is unbelievable for Saint-Emilion. The breakfast was good and was included...

This hotel is tucked into an old building just at the edge of the pedestrian area. The rooms are modern, and we stayed in the annex across the road which has some quirky room shapes (and in our case a stained glass window). It had all the facilities we needed, including a good shower and TV and free wifi. The...

Clean, modern, suitably equipped rooms in the historic part of the hotel (said to have been a commanderie of the templars in the 13th century) which is situated 20 m from the pedestrian zone in the centre. Short-time parking (paid during the day) next to the building, for longer parking, you have to go outside the city walls, 300 m...

We were given a two floor family room opposite the reception in an annex. It was clean and functional, and perfect for our requirements, don't go if you are looking for a period property with French decor and lots of ambience. However we had a charming balcony looking out onto the street. Perfect location. From the little interaction we had...

Very clean well priced room for 4. Love the architecture and friendly staff. Breakfast was additional but 138 euro was a great deal in this town location was very central and my Vinyard view in the morning was the best way to wake up! Modern clean rooms.

Not sure which was best, the hospitality and service by every staff member, the fellow visitors that were so friendly and engaging, or the most excellent room and breakfast. combining it all really made our trip to St. Emilion memorable. it is a tiny village wrapped around a "bowl" or coulee, filled with wineshops and cafes, all proud of their...

We booked this hotel last minute as our travel to another part of France was limited due to flooding. And it turned out to be a great decision to stay at the Auberge de la Commanderie and Saint Emilion. Our room was up a flight of stone stairs and we were kindly helped with our luggage. The room was clean,...

Beautiful, basic and spotlessly clean hotel in Saint Emilion. Really spacious rooms with shower, air conditioning and Tv's. €108 per night is s bargain. Matthew in the breakfast room is so polite and the breakfast with boiled eggs is really nice.

The Auberge is very clean, and the staff is very friendly. Good location (the Cordeliers tour, next door to the Auberge is worth taking). Easy walk to the tourist office and the monolith church. The breakfast was good.
