The hotel is amazing, the rooms are great, and the view is just stunning. It's a very expensive hotel but if you can afford it, then stay here. That said, I must say it's VERY expensive. A friend booked us at this hotel without confirming the price of the room and one of us (we were a group of 6)...

This hotel is stunning. It is perched on top of the town and follows the steep lay of the land with the hotel staggered across many levels (there were three different lifts to our room). We only stayed one night and ate in the Michelen starred restaurant there. It was very expensive but it was beautiful. I am glad we...

St Emilion should be among a list of pilgrimage places everybody should do once in their lifetime. Hostellerie de Plaisance is the right way to do it. The room under the"clocher" is superb, spaceious room, large bathroom.

The beauty of Saint Emilion is further complemented by the beautiful hotel at the top of the village. Our room was quite large, a hallway separated the bathroom, two ample closets, bedroom and patio. Our room (Laussac) was named for a nearby vineyard. We were greeted with bottled water each day and enjoyed the candy resembling a wine cork each...

Our room with a large balcony with fabulous view was perfect as was the bed. Took me two days and three requests to get the cushions on our balcony chairs. Oh well. We heard dinner was good at the restaurant but had many good meals and didn't indulge here. Didn't have breakfast here either as it was 35 euros per...

From the moment you step in through the door (already awe struck by the surroundings), you are surrounded by quality. Service, furnishings, spectacularly architected accommodations and even the coffee are great.

This is a great boutique hotel in the best location in one of the most picturesque and charming wine towns in all of France. We were assigned the Cabernet room, the least expensive of the 19 or so rooms in the hotel. The main downside is that one must take 3, yes 3, elevators to get to the room. But...

In our opinion it is one of the best hotel we've ever visited. Great rooms, fantastic views, fantastic-fantastic restaurant (I would put it somewhere near world top restaurants without attempting to rate them). To my (rather choosy) taste, this is a perfect place. Prices are high, but well worth the pleasure.

Saint Emilion is a medieval town with the wines I love best... Chateau Beausejour Becot is my favorite wine ... And Hostellerie de Pleasance is a Relais and Chateaux that makes you feel as if you were a princess and prince... Best location, wonderful breakfast, wonderful rooms... expensive but good... reserve in advance... they have a great restaurant (we were...

Second stay in two years and without a doubt one of the best hotels in France. We travel often and are fortunate to stay at some amazing places. This hotel is best of the best. Beautiful boutique property at the top of the spectacular town of st. Emilion. Luxurious linens, furniture, food etc. clarins products in the bathrooms. Professional, helpful...
