The Sarovar Portico is in fact a hidden gem in jallandhar ( Punjab) . We were looking for a clean place to stay for few days, and surprised with staff courtesy and politeness. The rooms are very good size ' one is at ease spending time relaxing and unwind. The b fast is a treat ' with blend of choices 'one has to experience to believe. It's a definitely a user friendly hotel like home ( it's very decent place) we even went swimming too ( bonus) lastly the evening meal was fresh prepared ' the afghani chicken was just right ' we definitely spent a lovely relaxed time ' very impressed with staff service of paramount quality and politeness ' all my comments made are having spent 5 nights at this place / Thank you so much Sarovar Portico ' we will stay here again definitely " Special thanks to Cheff Mohan for lovely prepared dishes '

Bad experience and disappointment with my recent stay at Hotel Sarovar Portico jalandhar.
Despite paying a significant amount for accommodation, I found that the facilities provided were severely lacking. Firstly at the time of check in they standard check in time 11 am even got confirmation time 11 am. They not accommodate to till 12 noon not give exhaust time give room only they told give me 2 minutes 2 minutes. Once get the room found hair at minibar area. Room not upto mark as per charges.
Then we order for food was not up to standard. The platter I received was not only tasteless but also served cold peneer was too hard. And they don't have proper platter they served in full plate this is sarovar standard Additionally, the condition of the platter used for the gravy was unsatisfactory, appearing old and worn. Moreover we order for butter chicken and Lachha parantha that was tasteless chicken was too hard . As per your menu prices please give your best quality maintain standard. Second room was not soundproof alots of disturbance.
