The Umed Grand is a budget hotel that provides value for money. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and clean. The breakfast is included in the room rate and consists of a juice, aloo paranthas/toast and butter and tea/coffee. What more does one want? Eggs can be ordered separately. Food in general is good, though not great. There are plenty of other joints in the city for those wanting a gourmet fare. It is tucked in a quiet corner within the city but within reach to most important places. The staff though responsive, could do better with a smile on their face and attending to requests on time.
