My name is sushil kr. I stayed at Ramada by wyndham jalandhar , room no. 414 from 15 march to 17march under the reservation name Sushil kumar. I did early check in and the visit was not so bad not so excellent however i being a hotelier i would like to mention few things what i had noticed from check in to check out.
Lobby was good but i haven’t seen any bell man or door man for welcoming the guest..heading towards to reception.. receptionist was not much professional she didn’t even introduced herself and also greet me once I greeted her without smile.Booking was hustle free that i like the most but again there was no concierge team to assist with the luggage. Now come to the room being a 4star hotel under the name of reputated brand Wyndham it was totally unexpected.
I entered the room it was nice….. Still few things was very worst I found used shaving kit and cotton buds in the washroom bin .. no face towel no tissue box, toilet roll was looking very bad and it’s about to finished… washroom condition must need to improve and need to focus more on cleaning i couldn’t mention everything things but still need to goes with eyes for detail.
Coffee cups was very dirty and no even the hotel staff can used that one I don’t know how they placed for the guest.
Tea kettle looks very unhygienic. Most of rooms area was not even touched there is lots of dust on the bed side table drawer. Windows are dirty Floor having hairs
Also i ordered food from outside and i got the call from reception around 2:00 Pm on 16thmarch he said as per management we are not allowed outside food and same time he mentioned you have to come down to collect your delivery..that time it feel like i am not staying in 4-star hotel it like it a below 3star hotel where staff are very unprofessional.
One good things was that housekeeping delivery the requested item very fast.
So being a part of Wyndham it was totally unexpected. Kindly more focus on the guest experience to meet the guest expectations.

The hotel has lovely big rooms, and great food. We had great butter chicken and laccha paranthas in the coffee shop, served by Chandan Tripathi who insured the chicken didn't have chilly as requested. The room was comfortable heated not over heated. The breakfast buffet was really large and varied. We had a very comfortable stay. Wish the TV channels included more English news channels.

Attended India for my son's wedding, and stayed at the Ramada with many family members from the UK. We stayed for 9 nights. We did not have a very good experience during our stay, to say this Hotel is classed as a 5 star hotel. Reasons being, poor value for money, what we experienced. No clean towels available on one occasion which disrupted plans for our day, as we had to wait for 2 hours for clean towels to become available. In the restaurent at the coffee station, there was no teaspoons to stir your coffee, so I had to on many occasions stir with a knife. On the fourth day of my stay for teaspoons they put out sticks at the station. Also on one day there was no brown bread available. They said it wasnt available today. This is not acceptable for a 5 star hotel which I paid good money for. We will not be staying at the Ramada again.

We were traveling from US and vising family in Jalandhar. We thought Ramada brand was somewhat known although we never stared there in the US. Given the limited options besides the local hotels, we booked a non-smoking room. When we checked into the room, it was full of smoke stink. The staff was kind to change the room when we shared the feedback but it took them a while to get us the new room. After a long journey, we were just sitting and waiting for our room to be ready and after 25 minutes, we were moved. As we were unwinding into this new room, we saw a person walk by our balcony and we were all like, what? Turned out there was construction going on next door, and there was a big hole in the wall. The access point for workers were through our balcony. Instead of complaining again and waiting for another 30 minutes for a different room, we decided to manage our expectations. It would have been nice if we knew about this ahead of time. We had to close the curtains through our stay, felt like we were somewhere in the basement with no natural light. The furnishing were as if someone armature assembled it. There was no way to know how the doors to the cabinets were to open, no knobs or area to hold the door to open, or which side the door will open. Although it was marked as a suite, the finish was of a low level motel. They only had to shower towels for a party of 3, no iron in the room and so on. After we checked out, we were well on our way by the time I realized that I forgot my Airpods pro in the room. I called the hotel and they told me they will look for it can call me back in a few hours. I told them I can see the Airpods on my iPhone (find my device) to be at the hotel. After waiting for about 3 hours, I called back and was told they did not find it and accused me of leaving it somewhere else, not in the hotel. I can still see the Airpods pro in the hotel through find my device as of this writing – one week after we checked out and back in US now. Meeting family in Jalandhar was the only high of our trip there, everything else was a disaster. Never ever would I stay in this Hotel in the future or recommend anyone to try it out.

The housekeeping service took the towels out of the room every day and did not replace them so we had to keep calling to request towels and were declined or else told to wait until later. It seems as though there are not enough towels on the premises for the number of guests staying. We said we were happy to reuse towels but they kept saying "no, they're soiled" even though they often hadn't even been used yet, so strange. The floor in the room was dirty and was never cleaned throughout our stay. We stayed 4 days and housekeeping would call when we were getting ready to leave and asked to come back later but never would. Bins were changed and towels taken out but bed was never made up or floor never cleaned. Internet was non existent. Key cards worked intermittently, very frustrating to have to keep asking to be let into the room. Location was good.

Lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Any issues resolved immediately. The room was perfect and cleanliness. The bed was very comfy and fresh towels given everyday. Seating area was comfortable and desk to get on with any work though the WiFi could be slow at times. Tea/coffee making facilities were great. The valet parking was perfect. Breakfast buffet had a good selection of hot and cold food. Overall a very good experience.

You comedown and ask for the wifi I'd password it will only support one device at one time
You ask for a bottle opener the answer is we do not give bottle openers in the room whenever you want to open a bottle call room service they will come and open the bottle.
The isicing on the cake.. buffet breakfast starting time 7 am to 10.30 am. The breakfast was not completely laid out till 8 am. People went to their respective rooms to get mugs to have their coffee, as only one junior staff (the poor fellow) wasanaging everything.

Efficient and standard hotel located in the city centre. Was upgraded to the suite which was quite spacious and comfortable. Breakfast had a good spread and was well prepared. Staff was pleasant, and it was easy to hail transport on the main road outside. The gym was also pretty well equipped.
Room cleaning could be a little more thorough - I found an empty bottle behind the bedside table.

Ramada by Wyndham is an excellent property. The best part is the room and staff both are cozy . They are very welcoming and goes out of the way to make you feel comfortable. Approach of the Hotel is very easy and the best part is parking sot has arrangement for your driver t stay with in the property. So we first stayed here in October 22 , due to location , staff really friendly and welcoming, so we booked again for March 24 with family this time, staff remembered us and greeted us like we were family , Kamal the resturant manager was great the first time and this time was also great , he treats all his guests like family and is very attentive to your needs, always smiling and Priya at the restaurant always smiling and very to talk to , got us the best chai in the morning to start our day off. In the bar Banty, remembered us from last time and was always pleasant and would offer advise on what to eat and drink, will be coming back in October. Guys you make guests like me to come back again and again. To the rooms, very clean and spacious, cleaned everyday. Only one issue we’ve had is the WiFi not always working!
