I did the "Amazon Expedition to the Upper Tambopata River & Sandoval Lake" 4D/3N with Wasai Tambopata and it was AMAZING!! I wasn't sure what to expect but was completely blown away. It was my favorite part of my Peru trip. The facilities were well-kept and clean, the food was delicious and plentiful, and the expeditions were a lot of...

Wow! We started off our Peru holiday with 3N, 4D at the Wasai lodge. Deep in the jungle, in takes 3 hours by boat from Puerto Maldanado. Boat is the main transport, but it was amazing the scenery. The lodge itself, is tidy and very authentic. As its in the jungle, you don't have air con or hot water but...

Got way more than we bargained for. Staff was amazing and went above and beyond what we expected. We arrived super early and left late, and at both ends the gave us a room.to use for showers and napping. It was seriously one of the best tours I've ever done!

My husband and I loved our stay at the Wasai lodge. We went on several nature walks and boat rides. We did the adventure package which included a kayak trip and zipline. We saw capybara, macaws and caiman, wish we saw a jaguar though! Our guide, Carlos was awesome and had a lot of knowledge of the rainforest. There is...

Wow! My husband and I had the amazing opportunity to spend 4 days in the jungle with Wasai Lodge and Expeditions. Our very capable and friendly guide was Chemo (or Guillermo), and he personally showed us a part of his world -- from jungle walks, to a nighttime caiman search, to kayaking the Tambopata River, to the ultimate Chuncho macaw...

I'll start by saying we had a decent stay here. We had the privelage of seeing a jaguar, caimen, rainbow boa, giant snail, macaws, tarantulas, and some beautiful flora and fauna.. our guide (Carlos) was very knowledgable of the rainforest and answered all our questions best he could. It was just the 2 of us during our time at tambopata...

This lodge was beautifully situated in the jungle. The rooms were great and kept clean, and had mosquito nets. The lounge areas were nice as well. The Wasai tour however we found to be underwhelming. Our guide was good and we're able to see some wild animals and learn about plants, however we felt the cost to be too much...

I just came back from a stay at wasai tampopata and the whole experience was truly amazing!, our group was very lucky!!, we saw a couple of jaguars at a very close range, both, female and male, were at one beach very close to where our boat was passing on our way to the collpa clay lick. We stayed there...

I visited this lodge in 2013, so I can't say if it has changed. But I just now received notifications for inquiries from 2913!!! What? That's a bad on Trip Advisor. But YES! Sending money via western union or Paypal over wasai.com, even without a confirmation is legit!!! I was a little apprehensive when I sent them several hundred dollars...

My wife and I did a 5 day - 4 night stay at the Tambopata Lodge. We did the longer itinerary in hopes of seeing a leopard (no luck) and other wild life. I have no complaints about the lodge or our guide, but if I was to do it over again I might suggest the 3 day 2 night...
