Looking to horseback ride Cotopaxi? The answer should be YES, because it is absolutely freaking amazing and awe inspiring - So stay here. This place was hard to find in the taxi (make sure you have great directions prior to departure), but it is a magical place. Very clean and quiet, the rooms are extremely comfortable and cozy. It's luxury...

Santa Ana is a beautiful, peaceful and cozy place to stay. It is very close to quito and easy to get to. The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. We were in room #4, the bed was very comfortable and warm, the room spacious but cozy. The bathroom had a shower and a tub. We spent...

We pulled in to Santa Ana after a long day of hiking and driving. It is off the beaten path - which only adds to the beauty of the place. It is surrounded by gorgeous mountains and local farms. We were immediately welcomed to this charming and historic hacienda by the manager - who escorted us to our rooms and...

The good was amazing and the staff was great. If I ever go back to Ecuador, I would definitely make my way back to this place. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and stylish and Wi-Fi is available in the common area. The views are amazing and not something to miss.

Unfortunately we were booked for one night only in this absolute gem. One of the highlights of out 2 week journey across Ecuador was to arrive at this magnificent hide-out. Admittedly a fair bit off the busy highway, but certainly worth every cobble stone and road bump it took to get there. An icing on the cake, we had the...

My husband and I spent the first few nights of our honeymoon at the Hacienda Santa Ana and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful start. The location is quiet and serene and very near Cotopaxi. When we visited, Cotopaxi park was closed because of the danger of eruption but, we still had a stellar time. The first day,...

Hacienda Santa Ana is housed in a real hacienda once owned by the Jesuits. In fact there is a huge Monterey pine in the front yard that looks like they planted it. An open fire and some wood burning stoves are kept burning all the time, so it feels warm and dry and cozy despite the alpine chill outside. The...

A warm welcoming refuge in a stunning landscape. This luxury retreat in an old Jesuit centre is worth travelling to. Comfortable large beds, underfloor heating, hot showers, wifi, roaring fires in a welcoming living space, friendly service and excellent food at reasonable prices. Decorations in keeping with the ecclesiastical background of the building. Ten minutes walk brings you past a...

We stayed at Hacienda Santa Ana for 2 nights in May and I would highly recommend this accommodation. Upon arrival we were welcomed by Amir who sat us down, offered us a traditional Ecuadorian drink and informed us about the history of the Hacienda. Amir was friendly, attentive and a great host. Our room was spacious and cosy. There were...
