Gorgeous location, beautiful room with delightfully cozy fire. Good home cooked meals. Wonderful views of Cotopaxi and informative garden walks with stunning Hummingbirds and other. A little hard to get to unless using own car or taxi but bus & taxi combination is also possible.

The room was comfortable and clean. I enjoyed the ponchos available in each room. The grounds were well-kept and created a lovely area to walk around, observing the scenery and wildlife (birds, didn't see anything else).

I was with my whole family during a full weekend. Great service. Small boutique space with customised experience. At the same time well organised, clean and safe. Food is incredible! Rooms super cozy and sophisticated.

A stay at Chilcabamba Mountain Lodge is the experience of a lifetime. The people welcomed us as part of their village. It was a rare opportunity to see an indigenous population who still live off the land, without cars, electricity or computers.

We recently stayed at Chilcabamba for around 24 hours. We were very pleased to see our room when we arrived, as it was large and comfortable, with a fireplace and great views of the wildflowers and surrounding mountains. Jose - who was incredibly friendly and helpful - prepared three great meals for us and helped to coordinate a trip to...

The lodge is very comfortable. We had a huge room, with fireplace, big windows and a big and nice and hot shower. The food is VERY good. This is a place to chill out and relax, read books and maybe join in for a walk up to Cotopaxi, you get up to 4864 meters! Walking distance to the North Entrance...

Chilcabamba is located in the northern side of the Cotopaxi National Park. The beds were very comfortable and warm even though the temperature was freezing outside. Our room had a little chimney and living room, very nice. There was plenty of hot water, which is wonderful for cold weather. Our breakfast was pretty good and they give you plenty of...

Chilcabamba was a magical little discovery. Tucked away at the end of a long cobbled road it was a wonderful surprise. It's thatched roofed buildings and wood stoves gave it a very cozy feel while the finishing touches made it feel very comfortable yet still rustic. It's views of Cotopaxi can't be beat and it's only a 15 minutes drive...
