Very nice and beautiful. The crabs walk around the yard, it's so beautiful. Is a very calm and relaxing place. Not for party. It is the perfect place to rest. with an awesome italian restorant in the front, with tables on the beach... just perfect. Totally recommended!

The Hotel Vila Guaiamu is located just beyond the last boardwalk in Morro de Sao Paulo on expansive grounds set back off the beach. The ground is dotted with holes which are the homes of landcrabs, the guaiamu. It's incredibly charming. The beach in front of the hotel in my open is the best in Morro de Sao Paulo.

The location on quiet third beach is ideal if you want to be away from the noise and crowds and is a short walk from the amazing fourth beach. The grounds are stunning and really make this place - there is lots of space between each block of rooms giving you the feeling of solitude which is lovely. The rooms...

Simple bungalows surrounded by the most beautifull vegetation witch is very sad that the bungalows don't have glass windows and we have to keep the wooden windows closed most of the time because of the mosquitos and insects. The rooms need to be update, I've been there 10 years ago and everything looks the same. Breakfast wasn't very good, they...

A nice little family run B&B (Italians) on beach #3 on Morro de Sao Paulo. Simple bungalow style accommodations on gorgeous grounds surrounded by massive palm trees, exotic vegetation and home to countless little blue crabs that make their home all around the grounds and the island. Morro de Sao Paulo is quite the party spot and attracts a lot...

I chose this place partly because the Brandt Guide claimed it served the best Italian meals on the Island. In actual fact the restaurant at the entrance is leased to an Italian by the owners. That said its meals were the best we had in 3 weeks in Brazil. The staff were very nice and attentive if, without, the boss, a...

This is a very special place. Unique, surrounded by a mad word. Morro de São Paulo, is now a flashy destination in Brazil. With flashy places and people. Villa Guaiamu, one of the first hotel in in the island, preserves the authentic island feeling , in a natural reserve, with trees, and shadow, and coconuts and of course Guaiamus crabs...

As if the island of Morro de Sao Paulo wasn't heaven itself..... This pousada is located between 3rd and 4th beach, a 5 min walk away from the hustle and bustle of 2nd beach. The little cabins (humble, yet functional - great water pressure!) are spread on a vast property of palm trees, beautiful fauna everywhere, and native island wildlife...

Amidst fashionable and flashy new pousadas, that is a place to meet real life on the island. 10 minutes by foot from busy night life however, it is a perfect match between nature and pleasure. Protecting environment and wild life (crabs and trees), a friendly welcome, a gorgeous breakfast.

Breakfast and staff are great/ attentive. It feels very nice to be surrounded by guaiamus (crabs) The rooms have a very good size with lcd tv (didn't use) and split a/c. But the bed and linen could be much better. At night a lot of ants walking around, there could be a way of killing them.
