We stayed pre-season, so everything was still a bit quiet and chilly, but Sally's welcome was heart warming. The B&B is fully decorated in Old English decor - very comfortable and homey. The bathrooms are a bit small, but this is an 'old house' after all. Sally's breakfast will not leave you hungry! If you prefer character over the standard...

Stayed at the Marmalade Cat Bed & Breakfast for an overnight stay while attending the Watkins Glen Ice Bar Festival. The owner Sally was very nice and willing to accommodate. Overall the room was comfortable although next time I would opt for a room with the bath in the hall since the in-room bathroom we had was very small. Breakfast...

We recently stayed at the marmalade cat and although it was our first experience at a b&b we really feel that we were lucky to have stayed here. We loved the charm or the house, Sally, the accommodations of the blue room, breakfast, and conversations with other guests. Our experience was wonderful--just what we were looking for!

Wonderful as always. Nothing bad can be said about the Marmalade Cat. Sally the owner is so charming and inviting. We wait with anticipation for her amazing home cooked breakfasts. The house is spotless and well maintained. Highly recommended.

What a cozy place! The owner's father was an antique dealer, so the B&B is full of family heirlooms. We had a private room/bath with a king size bed and canopy. Breakfast was delicious and served beautifully. B&B is located right in the heart of town within short driving distance of Watkins Glen State Park - a must see! Warm,...

Visitors to the Finger Lakes area of New York State need to consider a stay at the Marmalade Cat Bed and Breakfast in Watkins Glen, at the southern tip of Seneca Lake. Sally Rigden, with her husband Martin, provide the most superb B&B experience one could imagine. A beautiful Victorian home, scrumptious full breakfasts, impeccably clean rooms and washrooms, and...

My wife enjoyed two nights at the Marmalade Cat B&B in August. The location is great. We walked to the Watkins Glen State Park and the Seneca Harbor. And we were perfectly located to drive up to the wineries on both sides of the lake. Sally and Martin are great hosts. We had a nice room with our own private...

B&B's are a treat for me and my husband. Due to budget constraints, we only book them once every three or four years, so I assure you I did my research before choosing the Marmalade Cat. What a wonderful decision! We stayed for four nights and were grateful to return to the Marmalade after a day of touring wineries and...
