Clarissa corresponded with us quickly when we had questions before our trip and was welcoming when we arrived. She gave us a quick orientation to the town. The motel is a short walk to the lake and to all the restaurants. It is almost right across the street from the state park, which was awesome. The room was very quiet and comfortable. It was helpful having a refrigerator in the room, and although the room had no coffee maker, there was coffee for guests in the office. We would stay there again if we come back to Watkins Glen.

We stayed here one night for our birthdays. The owner was very nice and mapped out for us all the nearby restaurants as well as recommended some wineries to try out. The room has a key to lock it, not a card, which was charming. The place was super clean. Will stay here again next time.

Neat and clean motel. Well situated in the heart of town. Comfortable room, newer bed, well stocked bathroom. Cleaned and sanitized daily during our stay. We will definitely put this facility on our short list for our next trip to Watkins Glen!

Clarissa welcomed us and helped us with all the information we needed to start our visit to Watkins Glen. Rooms are neat and clean and all you need . The location is perfect to walk to the State Park into town for meals and shopping

This small motel was surprisingly nice! The owners were very nice. Our room, #14, while small, was very clean and updated. It is a 1 block walk to the Watkins Glen State Park, which is great for getting there early in the morning if you are not a morning person. Easy walk into town too - I think it is about a 1.5 mile walk through town to the lake. Dunkin Donuts us 1 block the other way if you want breakfast. After walking down the side streets, we also figured out how to get around the traffic on the main road. Definitely glad we chose this hotel over the others!

The location of the motel is near enough to town to walk and the gorge across the way. The owners very friendly. The room small but very clean. Alittle over priced but it was close to town, easy to find and Clean !!!

The most basic of rooms. There is a motel and a “hotel” which is really just a small house with a bunch of bedrooms. We “upgraded” for a king bed which ended up being in the hotel. It was literally just a room, tiny bathroom with stand up shower, there was not even a closet. No extras to be found here. We were also right above the office which is in the bottom floor of the hotel. You need to walk out and around to get to it but the people in the office were so loud in the morning they woke us up. I don’t even think they were being overly loud, you can just hear everything! The owners were nice and the room was clean enough, but you can tell that the places in this town are just price gouging because of the location to the state park. I could not believe how much the room cost for what it was. The location is good, you can walk to the park so that is nice. But other than that, you will WAY overpay for what you get here. …

The Watkins Motel is an updated accommodation. The rooms are efficient and clean. The bathroom was clean with plentiful hot water. Location is very close to the entrance to Watkins Glen State Park. Off-street parking is a plus.

We booked this place knowing there was the Italian fest going on in the park.The traffic was unbelievable and Watkins Glen was a busy place! This motels location makes the stay worthwhile. We parked our car in front of the very clean room and walked all over Watkins Glen, basically getting everywhere we wanted. We did take the car up the lake to all the wineries. The owners are very nice and accommodating. This was not our first stay here. We stayed across the street a few times, but this place is clean and cleanliness matters!

The best customer service ever! Gary and Clarissa were so accommodating at the very last minute. The rooms are so immaculate! All the towels and the sheets are so pristine clean! Will recommend this place to all my friends and family!
