Enjoyed a two night stay, from this convenient departure point for the North East of the park, and two hours from Ishasha's tree climbing lions. Self contained tent and bandas not worth price premium. We were given different rate over phone than final bill, though finalized with manager. Suggest getting details of price and what's included in writing.

the staff at Bush lodge are amazing, they always keep time and welcome every body at their lodge. I liked staying here because it is a very convenient place to stay if you want to explore the park and also if you travel at night it is easier to access this place.

The Queen Elizabeth National Park. The Bush Lodge was an oasis in the dessert. We were welcomed in five star fashion, escorted to our tent structure with a welcome song by the hippos only a couple of yards from our front door. The food was amazing, served around a camp fire. The staff was attentive and even baked a birthday...

We drove up to the Queen Elizabeth Bush Camp from Ishasha, a 2 hour easy drive. The camp overlooks the Kazinga Channel with a lovely outdoor area for guests to eat their meals in together at the allotted time each day. It's really in the bush - hippo, leopards, and other animals are known to roam the premises so the...

We stayed in one of the smaller tents at the end, which are spotlessly clean and have solar powered sockets for charging cameras etc. Note: there is no wifi at the lodge at all. We didn't miss wifi though - amazing views of the lake, plus each night we could hear the hippos eating the grass around the tent! The...

We booked this lodge after reading some reviews. Although it is listed as a "budget" choice for Queen Elizabeth Park, it is really as nice as some upscale tent lodges in which I have stayed. There is an eco-toilet and you have to request hot water for your shower, but the room and beds are first rate, as is the...

Lodge was recommended and we were so pleased, excellent lodge. Staff were very attentive, we wanted for nothing, food was amazing, 3 course dinner and simple buffet breakfast with choice of eggs. Very reasonable price. Tents were amazing also and the location wAs a dream. Saw the hippos right outside our tent and the view from tents was wonderful. Can't...

As a twentysomething year old with a tight budget, it can be difficult to find moderate prices within Queen Elizabeth National Park. My friend and I stayed in a non self-contained tent for two nights which had an incredible view of the Kazinga channel. The atmosphere was extremely peaceful and every night, we fell asleep to the sounds of hippos...

Good morning Heidi Thank you for your visit and review on tripadvisor. We are glad to hear you enjoyed your stay with us. As for the expense of meals I would like to point out we only charge 15 usd for the 4 course meal in stead of 30 usd. If you think we charged you differently and would like...

Right in the middle of queen Elizabeth national park, is this nature lodge. It's one of the few midrange options in this region, but it doesn't feel midrange at all. Staff very professional and friendly. Food really well prepared. Awesome outside dinner eating setting around a camp fire. The self contained tents can feel primitive but everything is present. Outdoor...

Excellent location just a couple of kilometres from the main road to Mbarara, outside the National Park border. Nice view over the Kazinga channel. The food is excellent with a wonderful four plate dinner. High quality tents with toilets and shower, very well maintained. The price is reasonable and it is very good value for money. Nice and service-minded staff....
