Found it on last minute, a good place to stay for a couple of days, comparatively cheaper and breakfast is a bonus though served in limited quantities. However staff is not so well trained, language is a barrier here. Expect average service But Morning and sunset views are awesome, Pool is clean and refreshing. Overall Good value for money. :)

I had a very pleasant stay in Maruhubi Beach Villas. I stayed here because I was tired of the noise of Stone Town. The hotel is very basic and local run. The bungalows are very spacious with a big veranda. Best part of Maruhubi is the swimmingpool and the sunset view in the evening. The pool is always open and...

We stayed there for one week in early August 2016 and really enjoyed our time, although we could have had a couple of things that we disliked. The hotel is situated in Maruhubi a - I guess - suburb in the northern part of Stone Town. Getting to the center took about an one hour walk, so we mostly took...

Nice quiet spot just outside of Stone Town. We stayed there 2 nights after staying in the centre of Stone Town just to get away from the noise and swim as we thought it was situated on a swimming beach, but it is definitely NOT a swimming beach. GOOD POINTS: pretty, pleasant setting, lovely pool and lapa. We did a...

Staff both on reception and restaurant is nice and helpful. We were there in Feb and we were almost the only guests there but we felt...

One of the rare occasions of seeing a sunset at a Zanzibar beach. Very nice 'villas' offering even air conditioning. Breakfast was great, and the best of all was the very reasonable pricing. Ahsante sana!

We planned our Zanzibar trip at the last minute for the new year and by this time most hotels were fully booked and those available were very expensive. We stumbled upon Maruhubi. We were a bit worried about it considering it was cheap. We went saying at least we would have a good view as it was right on the...

Stayed there 3 nights over the Christmas period. Great pool overlooking a vista of the Zanzibar straights with beautiful sunsets. A good place at a very good price and is very relaxing and good to just kick back and rest. The restaurant is spacious and the food is good, nothing special, just good served by a fairly attentive staff. Rooms...

Found Maruhubi beach on trip advisor. Looked great since it had wifi, a pool, and was close to stone town which meant that transport was going to be easy. Was nervous before we got there since there wasn't alot of information on the internet. But boy was it worth it. The view from the villas is breathtaking. The food was...
