This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. We were picked up from the airport by Alex, who was friendly, professional, and a great driver. The car was very comfortable with hand sanitizer and fresh masks for us. When we got to the hotel, our temperatures were taken to check for fevers and we were welcomed witch exceptional hospitality. The check-in team was friendly, the process was smooth, and we were shown around the hotel by Lucy, who was lovely, and she explained the amenities to us. When we got to our suite, we were pleased to see that it was the epitome of cleanliness and decorated with elegance and local flare. That night, my husband and I ate at the hotel restaurant. He had lobster and I had a local dish that was vegetarian. The food was fantastic and the service was phenomenal! The waiter was so attentive to everything. When we ran out of drinks, he immediately came to offer us another. That night, we also booked a snorkeling and city tour through the hotel. The next morning there was a mishap with the company that the hotel works with and we ended up not going on any tours with the company. When the front staff heard about the mishap they did everything they could to make sure it was rectified. Zauki and Bakari managed to pull together a last minute excursion for us and then followed up to make sure we enjoyed it. They really did a great job at turning a bad situation around. Overall, the hotel was clean, had a great fragrance, beautiful pool, delicious food, and some of the best costumer service in the world! Next time I come to Zanzibar, I will definitely stay here again!…
After a successful climb of Kilimanjaro, I was seeking a place to recover and relax. The Park Hyatt Zanzibar was perfect. Everyone, from the first person I met to the last person I saw, had an eye out for great service. Everyone really made the effort to make my stay as enjoyable as possible and attend to anything that I might need. Upon check-in, Antonin showed me the property, provided me his WhatsApp number and followed-up several times to ensure my stay was a good one. A special shout-out to Lincoln, who helped me arrange for the laundry of my many soiled items from the Kili climb...and they were returned perfectly clean/dry in less than a few hours. Extraordinary service. The breakfast buffet was delightful, with many offerings. The Living Room was perfect for a cold beer while doing a bit of work. The sister property (The Beach House) was a wonderful change for a great dinner, with the mixed seafood grill being quite tasty with an array of Zanzibar-based flavors and sauces. A++ all the way around. Thanks for a perfect site to recover and feel special and well taken care of.…
From the moment we walked in the familiar sense of being back in luxury took over my being. Even with COVID protocols , no stones were unturned. The staff was always available to meet my needs and provide exceptional care.
The perfect hideaway to explore Stone Town. The hotel is set in a tranquil square away from the hustle & bustle, yet close enough to walk & enjoy the best of Stone Town. Beautiful beach & sea views, fantastic food with a great bar. What really stood out at the Park Hyatt were the people - from the management team of Nicolas, Taryn & Grace to Alex the driver - they could not be more helpful and welcoming. Don't forget to have a cocktail & bite to eat at the affiliated Beach House a few hundred meters away!
Perfect stay! Best beds in the world. Staff are fantastic and always available to help. Food is delicious. Facilities are great. Location is very convenient as you have the best of every thing in stone town. Will definitely be back.
