We stayed here for one night. Then changed our hotel. The staff is very friendly indeed, the restaurant and the breakfast are good. The whole hotel needs renovation though: Our room was filled with a penetrating stench of mould and the air blowing out the A/C was the same. Moreover, the A/C was broken and therefore, not cooling properly -...

Probably the cheapest place in Stonetown to have a meal but service is non existent! Our first night in Stonetown, we decided to have dinner here as it was around the corner from our hotel. We seated ourselves as there was no one at reception. There were no other guests there but no one came to take our order. Eventually,...

We had lunch here. We had chicken pilau. The place is clean and well kept . It's small and quiet. The food is overpriced for the average ambience of the place. The meal was however very good and enjoyable and we liked it. The staff were nice and polite.

We were tired shopping and our driver Ussi suggested to stop for lunch at this restaurant. A no nonsense restaurant with a limited menu, we ordered the zanzibarian pulao. It was good and the passion fruit juice was blissful. A quaint place to eat and I'd go there again.

We booked a twin room but it turned out to be a family room with a king size bed and a small one. Very spacious. Air-conditioning and fan worked well. Good shower. But no wifi in room. Breakfast was small. We booked the room online. The reception required us to produce a hard copy of the voucher. She even suggested...

Keki house is a good and reasonably priced hotel. It's on a very good location and it's clean, rooms have a good fan and AC. The staff is friendly. Only the breakfast was disappointing: it was very small.

We stayed in Keki house for three nights in total. It was all very good organised and the staff was very friendly. It was no problem to organise taxis for us to other parts of the island and to the airport. The hotel is situated in the centre of Stone Town, so everything is in walking distance. There was always...

Everything OK - nice staff and owner, very good price for accommodation and restaurant. Very good location in the city, a short walk to the beach and explore the city. Hotel taxi to the north of Zanzibar for a good price.

“Rooms are large and most overlook a narrow street, great for watching the world go by. Hotel is Zanzabari/Arabic style with all rooms built around a central courtyard area. Try the penthouse if you want a little more Arabic influence with a separate lounge area of large pillows on the floor.”
