Absolutely amazing food, especially the lentil curry! The view from the roof top where you eat is amazing! Very cozy and romantic place! Good service but it took a while before the food came. Doesn't matter when the view and surrounding is so nice!

We had lunch at this nice Spot. The restaurant is on the roof top with a nice view. The service was really good and the food tasty. A good place to rest from walking through Stonetown to eat or only drink something.

This hotel was absolutely perfect. The staff were very attentive on arrival and throughout our stay. We stayed in one of the suites which had a roof top bath, two flat screen TV's and all the facilities we needed. Whilst we were there we also looked at the other rooms available and I wouldn't of been disappointed if I had... More

Thankyou for the lovely stay! Such a beautiful setting - loved every single detail in our room. The unique architecture and beautifully crafted wood work all around the hotel has a very zanzibari style, which was an experience in itself! Even though the hotel was fully booked at the time of our stay, staff was extremely friendly and at our... More

Overrated poorly managed hotel! When I reached the hotel the hotel room was not prepared. Was made to wait and finally checked in at 1pm. The hotel is overpriced for nothing. The breakfast was low quality and extremely slow service. The room that we got was spice with oddly located bathroom right in front of the entrance with no door.... More

I was treated like royalty! My room was a marvel of Swahili style, a pleasure to be in. Staff were fantastic, breakfast healthy and delicious and the view from the rooftop restaurant simply breathtaking!

My wife and I stayed for 3 amazing nights at this authentic Zanzibarian gem. Beautifully restored, friendly staff, great food and ideally located to explore quirky Stone Town and all its delights. It used to be a place where slaves were given their freedom, and the positive energy is tangible. In fact, I can't find anything negative to say about... More

My fiance and I love historic, beautiful places and the Jafferji was an experience we will never forget. Full of art and books and good food, great central location with dignified calm and quiet indoors and on rooftop dining with fun and exciting constant clamor and excitement and shopping right outside, walk quickly to ancient fortress and great beach activity, constantly present and dependable security, friendly and very helpful staff...I enjoyed it very much.
