We spent our last night at Warere before flying home the following day. Firstly terrible service. Our geyser was not turned on so no hot water! The staff could barely speak English it was extremely difficult to communicate anything! What ruined our trip was that this 'hotel' did not have a working printer to print off my Covid test results in the morning before I left. The manager on duty looked at us blankly and it was now our problem, not theirs!!!! We rushed around Stonetown trying to find somewhere to print before my flight. Eventually, just in time for my flight, a person at the airport charged us USD 10 to print my COVID RESULT! Absolute robbery!! I was in floods of tears and stressed at the end of my beautiful Zanzibar holiday thanks to the inexcusable lack of service at Warere. DO NOT stay here.

The hosts are nice. This is the only good thing here. Location it is far from center, the bed it is not comfortable, in the middle of both our nights somebody know harder at the door (with their knees). It was horrible to wake up like this. The AC was broken and the area it is not so nice. Breakfast poor just some fruits. Never back again

We stayed 3 night as we wanted to do some trips from here and enjoy the stone town. It was firstly really difficult to find the hotel, as it was getting dark but in the end we managed .there is no sign front he street but if you see sign princes salme inn it's just after. The breakfast had been really nice good coffee and choice of fruits Also usually 3 types of bread the coconut bread was the best .Spanish omelette or different egg variation on request .really nice helpful and hospitable stuff all of the people who work here . The terrace view is nothing amazing but it's was fresh and nice sky to see. They do lot of praying so it can be noisy up here sometimes ;) The area is little dirty and very muslim so it's hard to buy a beer or any alcohol in the surrounding, so think about it if you need some. Near the round about it a cheap bistro you can go to eat, supermarket, pharmacies,ATMs . I would love if the terrace would be use as a bar, where they could serve some drinks it would be super nice.in the evenings after long day to chill . The manager Omar was super nice and borrowed us the European plug very kind helpful man. I am adding 4 instead of 5 becuase sometimes there was a weird smell in the room, like if somebody would smoke there or something...maybe it becuase its little older.not sure .however the staff clean everyday and bring a new towel.that was completely fine. I would recommend if you need a nice place to stay for shorter time. Especialy for terrace and good breakfast

Very nice guest house. The entrance is a bit hidden. The building is very nice, especially the rooftop where you can enjoy a delicious breakfast and have drinks all the time. The guesthouse is close to the beach and the port. You can easyly access the night market and the old town. The stuff is very friendly, helpfull and caring. We would go back at any time:)!

I stay here every time I'm in Stone Town (on average 10-14 days every 2 years) and it's still as great as before. The townhouse is located in a quiet part of Stone Town (Malindi), yet close to the seaport and all the attractions. Staff members are exceptionally friendly, flexible, helpful and honest. They've become like family and Warere is my home away from home now. Patrick, the manager, even went to buy medicine for me at the pharmacy when I fell ill and had a high fever towards the end of my stay... at no charge! Also the breakfast buffet on the rooftop terrace is consistently good and varied: fresh juice, 3 kinds of sliced tropical fruits, eggs the way you like them (with sausage or bacon, tomato, mushroom,...), 3 kinds of bread, pancake (with chocolate or banana) from time to time, butter, jam, real coffee or tea. The view from the rooftop is amazing. Also great WiFi everywhere. Absolutely commendable!
