We were absorbed into the Northern Selous Busch abundance of fauna and flora, in an epicurean lap of luxury. It was the last booking of the season, the rains, with thunder and lighting as framework for the majestic show that we enjoyed. We had masses of plains game, elephant, hippo, crocodiles, buffalo, lion, hyena, giraffe and birds of all sorts,...

We will never forget our time at Beho Beho. Our first ever African safari, we could not have started in a better place. The warmest of welcomes and beaming smiles soon settled us into the very beautiful and special Bailey’s Banda. A supremely comfortable “home from home”, we feel very privileged to have stayed in the owners’ own home and...

Beho Beho is a true lodge composed of nine bandas offering stunning views and equipped with all the comfort one would wish even WiFi in the middle of the bush ! My husband and I spent 3 nights in this friendly place where the Director Patricia, the Guides which were present: Godlisten, Siamingo and Roel and the guests were taking...

My wife and I stayed 5 nights at Beho Beho as part of our honeymoon and we wish we could have stayed at least 5 more! We were fortunate enough to have the entire camp to ourselves, which made the experience that extra bit special. Phil and Tricia do an amazing job looking after not only their guests but their...

As a woman travelling on my own I was worried about this holiday but Beho Beho was perfect and the team were amazing! The accommodation is luxurious, the service is second to none, the attention to detail is outstanding and the wildlife is incredible. Phil, Trishia and their 'family' deliver a wonderful experience from the warmth of their welcome, to...

Beho Beho is a great camp in Selous game reserve. The park itself is quite huge with lodges dotting the landscape, While there are no private traversing rights per se but we did not come across any other vehicle in our 3 nights stay. This is mostly as the lodges respect each other's privacy and you only see other vehicles...

We stayed here in early November for our honeymoon and it was a real treat. The bandas are truly beautiful, better than any hotel room we have ever stayed at and with the most amazing view. Very spectacular. Beho Beho is full of treats- the food is amazing and the Swahili lunch is still our favourite meal of the whole...

If you could imagine the best Safari along with the house style wining and dining in all different locations around the Luxury camp area, immaculate attention to detail in the African bush. Left Dar and flew by Helicopter - brilliant trip and only 45 minutes. Location is S074005 E0375539 and near Hatambulwa (Mount Johnson) which stands about 700 feet as...

This was the second stop on our Tanzania trip. We have been to Africa 2 other times and have been a variety of Lodges. This lodge was one of the best. The staff and Guides are great and really want you to have a great time there. We arrived and both my wife and I had a GI bug from...

Stayed here for 3 nights recently in "Baileys Banda' - couldnt fault the service, friendliness of the staff, food quality, game drives or anything else. Baileys Banda is a truly magical place with a private swimming pool and chef and is pure luxury, in an understated way. Fantastic for a private getaway. The guides were amazing - particularly Heribert who...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Beho Beho was the first camp to be sited in The Selous, not on the banks, or the flood plains of the mighty Rufiji River, but in the cooler highlands so as to enjoy the 'cooling breezes' from which its name derives. Always designated as a 'private camp' it has fiercely protected its individuality and privileged location as one of the most 'magical' places it is possible to visit in safari Africa. ... more   less
