My husband and I were looking for an uncrowded, wildlife-rich park and a comfortable camp that felt close to the bush -- Ruaha and Kwihila were perfect fits for us. We spent nine blissful nights here in late November/early December '16 and fell in love with this magical camp. The whole staff, then managed by the gracious and meticulous Anna...

This is a first class Camp experience. Beautiful setting. While enjoying a glass of wine outside our tent, we watched elephants browsing on the river banks. Tam and her team were wonderful, welcoming and professional. The food was amazing, we enjoyed every meal, particularly the dinner under the stars. This camp is not to be missed!

Our Travel Agency Africa Travel Resource recommended this camp after I told them about our wish to visit Ruaha. They also got us a great discount for our stay . The tented camp is beautiful and has really nice accomodation given its remote location . Wildlife viewing was great and so was food and service

We LOVED Kwihala! The staff took excellent care of us from the moment we arrived at the airport! Tam, the manager, handled things very well. A tree had fallen the night prior, damaging the dining tent and the staff had it all under control with very little impact on our stay. The crew developed a song specifically for my birthday....

situated in Ruaha Game Reserve this back to basics camp was really a great find. Tam and her team were all enthusiastic and keen to help. There was just an extra level of friendliness compared to most other camps. Tents were fine and bucket showers are just fun-can you get all washed before the water runs out? The camp is...

A fantastic stay at this authentic tented camp - we loved the warm welcome from the whole team - Tam the manager, waiters Goodluck and Robert, guides Charles and Moinga and had a truly great safari. Having just spent four nights at Kwihala Camp I can strongly recommend this camp to those who like to be a bit off the beaten track. The camp is beautifully situated, the accomodation was comfortable and homely. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff and game viewing was good. Very different to the Serengeti experience.

I cannot add much in the way of compliments and adulations to all those reviewers, including a very high percentage of returnees and seasoned safari goers (including myself) who have described so effusively and consistently what makes Kwihala so very special. There are all the high quality factors you would reasonably expect from an industry focussed on tourism and hospitality...
