My tour only included one night at the lodge, but it was spectacular. The dining area and lounge area are beautiful. The room was huge and had a fireplace, a double indoor shower and an outdoor shower. The balcony was great also with three different types of resting places to choose from. As far as service is concerned, it is top-notch. I was welcomed with a warm towel and a glass of juice. The food was excellent. There is an infinity pool as well. Outside by the pool, there were entertainers performing. You can't go wrong with a stay at this lodge.

This was the best lodge we stayed at during our Africa trip. It has the most spacious, luxurious, and beautiful rooms filled with wonderful local details and artwork. The staff at this hotel is the best. They made our stay very enjoyable, and made us feel really special during our honeymoon. Mahesh was really friendly, and prepared really nice little romantic surprises for us during our stay. (Thank you Mahesh!) Simon gave us a really warm welcome when we arrived, and he was really nice and funny. The Chef (didn’t get his name but the staff told us his nickname is Mr. Delicious) prepared really delicious meals and constantly checked in with us to make sure we’re enjoying the food. We were really sad to leave this lodge, and It is definitely the hotel that we will come back to if we ever come back to Tanzania. Thank you to all the staff! ❤️

This was a lodge beyond all our expectations!!! Very friendly staff, a big, clean, beautiful room with mosquito net and a outside and indoor shower. Food was very nice and there were shows in the evening. You also get a welcome drink. We were so sad when we had to leave

I was travelling with my mum for a safari and we arrived at Kilimamoja lodge the 25th to spend the night there. The property is amazing, and we received a nice welcome. We checked in around 6.30 pm and just after leaving our bags in the room we went just for 10 minutes in the garden to take some pics. When i came back to the room i realized my backpack was not in the same position as i left it, and in my pocket the wallet and the other things were disarray. But we did not care so much, we felt secure and we didn’t even think that someone could steal our belongings. So we went for dinner, we had an amazing dinner and we went to sleep. Just the day after during the check out while i was leaving some tips I realised that in my mum bag were missing 1500 euros (yes, one thousand and five hundreds). We immediately informed the hotel manager and he got in touch with the operation manager of the company. He said nice words to make me feel comfortable, he said that they would start to investigate what happened to find the responsible and that they would have been in touch with me. But after 4 days i still didn’t receive any call or email from anyone in the company. For this reason i’m very disappointed, because i would never expect such a bad problem management from a 5 star hotel. The following days we kept travelling and we stayed in other properties of the same brand but unfortunately we didn’t feel safe at all to leave our valuables in the room.

Response from Wellworth Hospitality, General Manager at Wellworth Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Lodge
Responded 3 weeks ago
Dear Allesio, Greetings from Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Lodge, a unit of Wellworth Hospitality. I was so happy to read that you found our property to be amazing and enjoyed the welcome experience. Please rest assured that I shall be sharing your kind feedback with the remainder of the team, as all the credit goes to them. For the benefit of our other readers, I feel the need to elaborate on your comments about the loss of money. I was most concerned to be informed of the situation, since it is not something that I have witnessed over the years of working with Wellworth Collection properties. Upon your notification to the front desk regarding the matter, we conducted a search of the property and all the staff that were present on the shift as per your reported time of loss. As a legal procedure, we advised that we should get the law enforcement or Tourist Police involved, but you denied on several occasions. The same was advised by our Regional Manager as well, at Serengeti. But you further denied to get the police involved in any way. Having that said, it was out of our hands to be able to assist you further since we had done all we could on the property level by conducting searches and investigating every staff that was present during your stay. At the end of your tour this matter was discussed with your booking agent in detail at our Head Office in Arusha with your presence. As you might remember, they advised us both to get the law involved too, but again, you denied to let us call the police for further investigation. We take great pride in our attention to detail and the 5-star service we provide unconditionally to all our guests and I can only wish that your experience with us did not have to be blemished by this incident. If you ever find yourself planning another trip to Tanzania, I would be most humbled and grateful for the opportunity to welcome you back to our Lodges and Camps and make your next holiday, a most enjoyable and memorable experience. In the meantime, needless to say, that you may contact me directly for any additional assistance or information that I may be able to offer. Best Personal Regards, Lodge Manager

My husband and I came here for a night during our honeymoon, we weren’t expecting a lot but I can safely say we were pleasantly surprised . The lodge is very clean, the facilities are very nice, the food was very good and the staff were extremely professional and friendly. Our room was nicely prepared by Veys, she decorated the room with heart shaped towels and flowers. During our stay Andrea was serving us all our meals, he prepared private and decorated outdoor tables for all our meals and it was very romantic. Chef Menza came to check on us after every delicious meal we had to see if we were happy or had any comments. Raphael from guest relations constantly made sure we had everything we need and made the check-in and check-out as easy as possible. We definitely recommend this lodge as it is the best one we have ever been to!
