Wow, what a wonderful place to spend one of our nights while on safari. Cocktails by the pool bar rewarded us with breathtaking views of the Great Rift Valley. Local entertainment provided a lot of fun. Dinner and breakfast were fabulous and the picnic lunch they packed for us was yummy. Our room was well appointed with a lovely balcony...

This is a lovely hotel and we really enjoyed the stay. The gardens are well looked after and there are plenty of Baboons to escort you everywhere on the grounds (somewhat intimidating at first but you get used to it). The grounds are spread out and the pool area is fantastic. The pool is infinity and drops off giving a...

The hotel, with its cabins with conical shapes, overlooks Lake Manyara, hundred of feet below. The pool, with its infinity edge is great. The cabins were large, we particularly like the shower which is on a flat surface. The first night most of group went to the pool area to have a drink and enjoy the entertainment of a small...

Dozens of individual lodges scattered around a central building which encompasses a restaurant and bars. Food and service excellent and for the daring there is a good swimming pool with excellent views over the surrounding countryside

The Lake Manyara Serena sits right on the Great Rift Valley, with a panoramic view of Lake Manyara right below. The grounds are lovely, with many tropical plants, koi ponds, a beautiful infinity pool, baboons roaming the grounds, and frogs croaking in the evening. We had a very nice interconnecting room for our family with balconies overlooking Lake Manyara. We...

Traveling from the Serengeti, Ndutu and the Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha we stopped at this lodge from the Serena group. Sat outside on the swimming pool side and enjoyed a wonderful lunch. Garden view and also on the lake in the distance. This place is so quiet, so peaceful that you would want to stay here for a few days....

We only spent one night here, but would have loved to had another. A very relaxing location with a beautiful pool setting. Rooms are in two story "rondavels", all of which overlook the lake below. The dining area and bar have a unique design in keeping with the room styles. The hotel is not far from the entrance to the...

Location is very good. Not far from the lake game. Rooms are very good. Walking insect protection net gives the good feeling. The best part was to have a small fan to help you cool. Services are very good. A typical of Serena.

After the dry if the Serengeti dusty roads lake Manyara is an oasis and this majestic hotel on the cliff top above is so refreshing. The infinity edge pool overlooking the park is heaven. Lovely lush grounds. And grand main house for bar and dining all open to the quiet gardens and view and our connected bungalow with the kids...

Although the staff are brilliant and customer service is well embedded the hotel complex is somewhat tired. Good restaurant and spacious in main hotel foyer; however bedrooms are not as good as other hotels in the area.
