The camp is in a beautiful location, with a great view over Lake Manyara from one of the corners of the camp - it's a pity there is no bar there! Staff are friendly, and the drums/dance/acrobatic performance was fun and not too long. The huts are kind of small, but the amenities are of good standard. The fish stew was amazing! All in all, a great experience.
I stayed here for one night during a safari. The facility is nice for a campsite, they have bed frames in the tents to increase comfort. The shower building was very nice and you can use their fridge. Unfortunately, I had several hundred dollars stolen by a female employee when I left my bag unattended briefly in the washroom. It’s hard to recommend a place where you can’t even use the bathroom safely. I did not notice the theft until after we left so I cannot comment on how management addressed it. If you stay here, keep your valuables very close to you.
Arrived at the camp in the evening, went to the viewing point of Lake Manyara and it was amazing, the staffs are very friendly and helpful. The morning sunrise was worth waking up early. Enjoyed every bit of my time here. Great place
We stayed there during our 2016 safari trip. Great view over Lake Manyara! Huts are comfortable (and look lovely at sunrise), shared bathrooms were fine. Food is prepared by your cook (there's always one per group when going to safari), but in the restaurant you can buy some (expensive) beer and cigarettes.
I stayed one night here. The place is really beautiful and Paulo, the manager of the Panorama, is really a nice guy who u can talk to for hours. The rooms are really clean, also the bathroom and the toilets. The Panorama's view of Lake Manyara is perfect especially when u r listening to ur favorite pieces of music.
