The hotel wasn't bad, but the location, although "convenient," was very noisy, with route 81 traffic making noise just about all night. The free breakfast (except for the coffee) was inedible. You couldn't even slice the bagels they were so hard. But the worst was when, having prepaid the one-night stay via Priceline, I was billed AGAIN by the check-out person and then, when I discovered the error on my credit card statement and called someone there to ask for a credit, they actually billed me AGAIN! It took hours of back and forth with the hotel, with my bank, as well as so much frustration you wouldn't believe. What was supposed to be a mini-holiday for my elderly husband and myself turned out to be a total disappointment.
Staff were friendly upon arrival. The room was spacious and very clean. Our room was next to the elevator and I never heard a sound. The bed and pillows were comfortable. I usually have a terrible sleep my first night anywhere new. I slept amazingly here. When we come to Watertown again, we are staying here. Also the parking, Wi-Fi and breakfast are all included in the price. No surprise charges and the breakfast was good.
This was a nice hotel that I stayed at for 1 night while visiting the Thousand Islands. Positive/Negative it is located right off I-81 so there is some noise from the freeway if you are a light sleeper. Since there wasn't as much traffic headed into Canada when I was there it probably wasn't as bad as it might be once Canada's covid restrictions are lifted. There are lots of restaurants located nearby within walking distance, though most are chain restaurants. Check in was quick and easy and the continental breakfast was pretty good to get me going in the morning before I left to do my boat tour and visit Boldt Castle.
The front desk check-in was smooth. The front desk staff and housekeeping were all helpful and cheery! The rooms were very clean and in very good condition. Beds were comfy. Very much enjoyed our stay!
Stay here multiple times in the past few years while visiting my son and hhis children, Hotell is in a great area with many restaurant serving full meals within walking distance. Close to main highways for early morning trips. Hotel servesa Contential breakfast rated a ten, but Ihope is only a few feet away if yoiur looking for a large breakfast. Houskeeping staff were very plasant and cooperative with clean sheets and towels. Pool and Exercise room available. Pool is only 4 feet deep for safety
Just an overnight in Watertown. Hotel is very conveniently located of Interstate 81. Rooms were very comfortable, clean, and quiet. WiFi was free and very good. Breakfast included and it had bacon. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Always enjoy my stays at this Watertown hotel. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Free breakfast is always hot and fresh and I enjoy booking the extra points package. Thanks for the great service. Have a good day.
We didn't have a reservation so we were happy to find available rooms at this location after a long day of being outdoors in the Thousand Islands. I was impressed at how friendly and efficient the front desk clerk was. She was alone as her co-worker was on break at the time and there were several of us in line. Our room was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed a full breakfast buffet the next morning. I do have 1 bit of information that will be helpful to other travelers: If you are offered a standard room choice of the 1st, 2nd or 3rd floor, you may want to take floor 2 or 3. Our room was # 120 and it was right across from the laundry/housekeeping room. I think someone went in and out of that room multiple times as we could hear the door being unlocked for a while after we went to bed . But we were so tired it wasn't as big a deal as it may sound. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.…
We stayed here on our wa home from the Adirondacks. Nice location although I’m not sure our GPS took us by the most efficient route. Hotel was clean, staff friendly but the pool and gym needed an appointment and there was limited food available. Only eggs with biscuits and cereal. No rolls. Also it was crowded and there were no lids for coffee. We are platinum and one of the original members of this frequent stay program. This was very high priced copared to other express stays and we were quite disappointed (we went to Dunkin for breakfast and did not use gym.
The staff was fabulous! The room was clean, however, the toilet could only be flushed once every 30 minutes because of slow water and the window sounded like it was open so you could hear the highway outside. The parking lot is well lit so curtains were helpful. Breakfast would do the job but it wasn’t great. We essentially got what we paid for…
